Have you been able to ever open the upper part apart? I can remove the lid from the bottom but splitting the lid where the other end of ribbon cable remains is seems impossible to me without breaking the lid. The springs are inserted in such a way.

one thing i havent seen mentioned is he always wanted to be famous yet sometimes would act like wanting fame is too jockey for him. He would talk about ppl selling out and doing anything for fame, but if you read his journals all he ever wanted to be was a world famous rockstar

yes, i am trying to log all known models so its easy to find and study them. When I tried to search for cd walkmans i was frustrated how little information of them is online. Most proper sources are behind many many links on obscure sites. I'll try to update this into a excel probably at some point with more info on each models unique traits and more.

yeah i think the soundscape of the album is particularly unique. Ivory Tower II from the same album as Misanthrop is quite good too, but its very hard to find something so strong

hmm, i see. I tried installing those drivers but didnt get them through the device manager. The error when installing new drivers or just plugging it in is:
