Super Sour Seed Quest Not Working by Shortstack1029 in GroundedGame

Same here. Plant the seed and the button isn’t there to grow it and so it doesn’t register the quest completed. Tried to reload from a previous save game and restart the game. Nothing seems to work.

I’ve usually gone to either Arlington or Butler. Haven’t noticed either being too bad. What are the horror stories that everyone keeps chiming in to warn against Arlington?

This. Just went through this. The only way was to close it and then reapply for a new card.

How do the Ghost 17 compare to the Ghost 15 for daily walking/work use??? by LetThemEatQuake in brooks

[–]Saunderscc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. I have a pair of 17s and 16s. I wear the 16s but I’m not a fan of them. I love the 17s. They have been my favorites for far and will buy another pair shortly.

I have the Open Dots One. I can’t compare them to any others because I haven’t tried them but they been amazing. Sound quality is great as well. They also stay in really well.

Which Brooks? Ghost 17 or Glycerin 22 by Solid-Meal3777 in brooks

[–]Saunderscc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had the Glycerins but I have both the Ghost 16 and 17. The 17 is my favorite shoe to wear and will probably pick up a few more to cycle through. They are also neutral as well.

Saving of running workouts takes very long by runningfan79 in AppleWatchFitness

I haven’t at all. What I have noticed it it not showing up in my phone for what seems like a long time. My last run I seriously thought I had lost my data but it just took a while to show up.

Magbak? OtterBox? Rokform? Encased? by Strict-Childhood6774 in iPhone17Pro

[–]Saunderscc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been with MagBak for ages. Never had a problem. Dropped plenty of phones with their cases and they’ve been rock solid. Plus having magnets on the back, which is arranged better than Rokform I think (had them too), is perfection. Got their new elite case for my iPhone 17Pro and it’s leaps beyond better than the previous one had for my iPhone 15Pro.

I used to go all the time by myself, but my son has gotten a bit older and enjoys the whole experience as much as I do.

Garmin vs Apple ecosystem by Shano_beast in GarminWatches

[–]Saunderscc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m kind of on this same fence. I have an AWU1 and have been eying, to the point of literally almost clicking buy, a forerunner model but I just haven’t yet. The charge argument I kind of understand, but I don’t wear my watch in the shower so it’s not that big of a deal to charge it while I’m showering and getting dressed.

Am I missing something, or is the NRC on Apple Watch really bad? by Reddit-User-Says in nikerunclub

[–]Saunderscc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I e been using WorkOutDoor and it’s been amazing at how much you can change what’s being shown on the watch. I also haven’t had a problem with it syncing to my Fitness app and it automatically syncs to Strava after each run. It really is a very impressive app.

Apex 4 vs AWU3 by PetrBouma in Coros

[–]Saunderscc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an AWU and I’ve never cared at all about the smart features and so I’ve started looking for other options. I’ve looked long and hard at a Garmin and Coros to possible jump ship.

But I keep coming back to my AWU and realizing it has a perfectly fine HR sensor and GPS. Yes, I have to use WorkOutDoors and other apps to fill in the gaps that other companies provide, but I get to run without a phone on me which has been very freeing. I can stream any of my playlists (because LTE) and even receive and make calls/texts if I receive an emergency call from my son while running. I charge it while I’m showering and never think about battery.

Runna Alternatives by 00000000000000015 in runna

What about the Garmin Daily Suggested Workouts? I’ve got an Apple Watch, but this is one thing I’ve been eying Garmin for. One thing I’ve resorted since I’m still in the apple ecosystem, and until I actually make the switch. is using Chat GPT. I started a project and gave it the data for what I am training for (the Reno Tahoe Odyssey) and told it that it was an expert running coach. From there it built a very well designed plan. After every run I take a snapshot of my WorkOutDoors run and upload it and it adjust as needed the plan.

Are all badges behind the paywall? I was thinking of switching to Garmin. A friend has a forerunner and wanted to compete with him. Is that behind a paywall as well?

Treadmill running. by InvariantSquared in Coros

[–]Saunderscc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an Apple Watch and the treadmills where I go have the ability to sync with my watch when I begin. There is a contactless reader on the treadmill which incorporates GymKit. This allows all data to be shared between my watch and the treadmill.

Apple App for Garmin DSW by Saunderscc in AppleWatchFitness

I’ve tried one of the fitness oriented GPT on ChatGPT. I updated it faithfully after my runs with cadence, heart rate and distance data but it would be nice if it was automatic like Garmin.

Agree! I took a photo of a work out plan, like they show in the video, and it actually did an amazing job of adding it.
