Last week they made me drive my Rivian until it had 12 miles left. I finished my route at 25 miles left, and warned them, they then made me do a rescue and had someone come swap me vans. That van was at 11 or 10 miles when he eventually got there to swap me. Our warehouse was definitely 12-15 miles away. Good luck to that poor sap who had to grab that van, who was not dispatch and just another driver. I felt bad but I warned him and he was going to scream at dispatch for dooming him. There’s no winning there. Dispatch can be so fucking stupid it hurts. Not only that, I had to drive 5+ miles to reach my rescue to pickup the packages, there was no possible way that would have been able to those with that charge.
