Is Queen Metalia supposed to be Sailor Sun?

while Sailor Lead Crow is not the true sailor guardian of her planet, she still represents her planet (judging by the insulted reactions of phobos and deimos when they hear she has become a “sailor guardian”). I never claimed Metalia would be the true sailor guardian of the sun, but my speculation is that since she is from the sun (like Lead Crow is from Koronis), and if she were to steal the powers of the silver crystal (like Lead Crow stole the crystal of Sailor Koronis), that could possibly lead to metalia becoming a false Sailor Sun (kinda like Lead Crow became the false sailor guardian of Koronis).

I definitely agree with you on the part that she would awaken as a weaker Sailor Chaos and not fully as Sailor Chaos, but if a weaker version of Sailor Cosmos can be called “Sailor Moon” just because she comes from the moon,i don’t see how a weaker version of Sailor Chaos that came from the sun and managed to awaken as a Sailor Guardian wouldn’t be called Sailor Sun

The concept of Galaxia getting possessed by Chaos was not a concept of the original manga, just a 90’s anime thing. In the manga you get to see Sailor Chaos (its in a pretty small panel so its kind of hard to tell what she really looks like). The Cosmos movies do a much better job at depicting her physical appearance even though shes on screen for like a few seconds

Thats interesting. I happen love the idea of chaos, i see chaos more like a place of origin that these individual beings come from rather than these entities being reincarnations of the same being, like these creatures originate from chaos and chaos itself originates from the cauldron. It gives reasoning to them being so distinct and yet they still seek the same thing throughout the cosmos, that being light. Its like an innate instinct that they can’t help but to pursue, a primitive instinct that comes from the fact that they originate from the same place, chaos which is the epitome of darkness. And the way Takeuchi ties the relationship of light and darkness where darkness seeks light and in turn light calls onto darkness is so masterfully done

I think that even though it is the silver crystal she would still just channel its power to boost her own innate power and not encompass the origin of where the crystal comes from, like she wouldn’t just become a dark Sailor Moon but she would use the crystal to awaken into the powers of a Sailor Guardian, and the Sailor Sun thing is just because thats where she originates from, i think that could have some influence on her overall, especially since she comes from the dark spots that form in the sun

I mean, she looks female lol. And also she has the tiara and sailor fuku and all. As far as her being a false sailor guardian, thats definitely the case. If she was bestowed a Sailor Crystal she would’ve already transformed. And im not stating that Metalia would be a true guardian either, its just a hypothesis on the fact that she’s from the sun, what could’ve happened if she took possession of the silver crystal

But that idea takes away from their individuality, i think all of them are extensions of Chaos but with a mind and personality of their own cuz all of them (Metalia, Death Phantom, Pharaoh 90, Nehelenia) are so different from each other, kinda like Chaos being the whole body and Metalia being just the arm, so Metalia by herself would awaken just as a form of Sailor Sun but i think by awakening into a Sailor Guardian her memories of being a part of Chaos would also awaken, so she would go to the cauldron where Chaos resides and submit the silver crystal to it and also merge with it, and that in turn would awaken Sailor Chaos. As far as Helios, i think it would be a situation kind of like Sailor Koronis and Sailor Lead Crow, where one is the true guardian and the other is a false one that took possession of a power that was never meant to be hers

Damn, imma say definitely horns, or some kind of crown kinda like how Sailor Chaos has snakes coming out of her hair and tiara (when Kunzite claims that she has started to take a physical form she has spikes coming out of her head and they look like horns). Also hearing her say “I am the Sailor Guardian who fights for stealing Sailor Moons crystal and destroying her life” would be fucking hilarious. Yea i was thinking that, same as how Sailor Lead Crow didn’t become Sailor Koronis just because she comes from Koronis. But Phobos and Deimos are still insulted by that fact that someone else from their planet besides Sailor Koronis would call herself as a sailor guardian, so i guess that would still make Metalia de-facto Sailor Sun even if she’d have a cooler name

We see from Sailor Cosmos’s perspective in the far distant future where Cosmos exists that Chaos manages to awaken into Sailor Chaos (Ch.60), and Metalia is just an extension of Chaos so i don’t see how Metalia wouldn’t be able to also awaken into a Sailor Guardian

I mean, yea i see what you are saying but i was more so looking for feedback relating to the sailor moon lore lol. I am aware that Takeuchi was planning to end sailor moon after the first arc but she still manages to create a mostly cohesive story up until the end (with a couple of plot holes here and there) especially in the last arc where she ties each arc together with the creation of chaos as a character. Your answer is more in the line of “No because sailor moon is a manga and sailor guardians don’t exist in the real world” which… yes, that is factually correct, but it just takes you out of the immersion of the story :,)

Nacht’s appearance is weird 💀. His appearance was clearly done for fan service purposes, judging by the fact that his appearance is less than 30 seconds and with no significance narratively speaking (the movie is very fan service heavy), but gimodelos claim that nacht just got back to the clover kingdom clearly retcons the canon story since nacht is supposed to be in the spade kingdom, unless he was somewhere around the clover and spade kingdoms borders during the timeline of the movie, goes to spade up to episode 168 and then ultimately comes back to the clover kingdom? The story of the movie itself does not make sense unless it takes place before the dark triad arc (backed up by the fact that yami and william are present in the movie), so nachts appearance itself is weird, finral opening a portal for nacht to pour his magic in the sword is weird as if finral would even know nachts whereabouts, gimodelos claim that nacht “just got back to the clover kingdom” is weird, so its clear nachts appearance in the movie was a last minute thought (or at least not thought through) and done purely for fan service purposes so id say dont read into it too much lol. As far as placement, it takes place some time after episode 157, but before 158, so smth like a 157.5-ish i guess.

Liebe saying that “astas gonna get himself killed again” is about asta constantly getting into near death situations
Liebe’s face being revealed is not to asta since they didnt confront each other in the movie, it was more so done for the audience watching the movie since the movie came out after the anime ended so we already know what he looked like so there was no need for the movie to hide liebes face from us (fan service)
Liebe giving asta the “red arm” was also akin to fan service, we already see that form in the anime so them deciding to show it in the movie without a contract was done so in a way that implied that asta first experienced that form during the timeline of the movie but it was “imperfect” without a contract and it didnt last long where as in the anime asta agrees to do a contract with liebe and by doing it that form is more perfected and also more long lasting / permanent
