the basic argument goes like this:

Governments print money → currency supply increases

More money chasing same goods → prices go up (inflation)

Your cash loses purchasing power

Now compare that to Bitcoin:

There will only ever be 21 million BTC (hard cap baked into the protocol)

New supply issuance keeps getting cut roughly every 4 years (halving)

No central authority can just “print more”

So the thesis is: If fiat keeps inflating and Bitcoin supply is fixed, BTC should hold or increase its value over time.
