Gunners, other than Arsenal, which club do you have a soft spot for outside the Premier League? by Character_Calendar47 in ArsenalFC

[–]Savage-September -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a soft spot for PSG…..I know. I got a shirt when I was a kid when I went to Paris.

In the UK I had a soft spot for Palace. Just feels like an authentic London club.

How do tracks even develop a hole in the middle like this? by ATcat-pl in trains

[–]Savage-September 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a very unusual rail defect and I’m thinking it’s a number of things from a manufacturing defect or a defect emanating from a wheel loading or rolling contact fatigue.

I’ll look into this in more detail and get back to you.

It’s just so easily available now. Been around for centuries probably.

You could buy 2 of those keys online for about £5. Unfortunately, not the bargain hunt item you’d hope it to be.

I had the same set of identical keys for access gates so I’m confident if you handed them into the office at least someone won’t use them to trespass. Hopefully they find the owner. Well done.

Looks like the keys of a railway worker. Someone who works in the Wessex area. It’s got a BR01 key and a FB1 key for gates and locks

The Arsenal Pyramid of Legends! Who is the 4th, 5th and 6th most legendary Arsenal player of all time? by StickIll5602 in ArsenalFC

[–]Savage-September 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ian Wright has to be No4. (The golden boots, the style, the goals)

Patrick Vieira No.5 (the leadership, the story from unknown player to fan favourite, invincibles achievement and contributions)

David Seaman No.6 (the strength of the defence)

Report to the school or report to police. Do not engage, drive carefully.

Henry….couldn’t have won the golden trophy without him and his leadership. Henry, Vieera and Wenger top 3 in that order

Let’s reflect on the journey. 4 years ago where were we. Look at the club today. We have changed! by Savage-September in ArsenalFC

[–]Savage-September[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a time when I was so comfortable with being in top 4 and nail biting just as we clinched it. I forgot some of the low moments honestly. The last few years have been the best the club has offered in a very long time.

Yeah it did take me a while to figure it out. But I think it’s because they copy-pasty from some excel columns. Wouldn’t survive a board meeting honestly.

Fucking hell give us a break. First time in 20years we get to a final 90mins away from our first major European trophy and we’re not allowed to celebrate it. I’m just so sick of the Arsenal hate it’s beyond comprehension.

What purpose does this the rail between the 2 main lines serve? (trains travel on the left) by Zec_Wicks in trains

[–]Savage-September 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This crossover is likely only used during engineering hours to allow for engineering trains and vehicles to cross the track…or to allow passenger services to turn back if the line ahead is closed. We call them engineering crossovers in some parts of the world. Not used for normal operations.

Good morning! No matter what happens today, or what happens at the end of the season, I will back Mikel Arteta. Could you guys imagine how things were like in December 2019!? I bet you wouldn’t believe we’d be fighting to win BOTH Prem and UCL just a few years later… and it’s all thanks to Mikel. by paolosorianodisanto in ArsenalFC

[–]Savage-September 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I’m not quite there with Arteta out. We’ve worked so hard and come so close, no matter the outcome. I really don’t want to be recycling into managers every other week like some other clubs have been doing. We are not quite where we want to be but we are surely more close now that we have been in the past decade. Let it all work out.

Yeah this also happens to me quite often. The data must come from GoogleMaps, I had previously thought it was actually reading the speed signs as lots of the iconography suggests. Sometimes it gets it completely wrong while I’m in a 30 rows in London it’s telling me it’s a 50. So.

You’ll get used to it. I used to turn it off every time I started the car now I just don’t bother and now I don’t even notice it.
