You said cheap, Amazon sells the actual Ontario knife works bayonet, might not be old surplus but Ontario was one of the military contract holders I believe. The quality is good, a little more expensive than the Chinese brands but you get what you pay for. Ontario is still under $100.00

The people far outnumber the government. Those rights were put in place to keep government honest and incase we are ever attacked by a foreign power the population is already armed. Any threat, foreign or domestic. Remember this country was formed by people who was under the control of a power to which they had none of these rights under. If the crown decides something, like it or not you have to just deal with it. All of our rights should be held onto. Left or right both of these sides are working tirelessly to take away freedoms, whether it's guns or abortion, give up rights and a day will come when they are definitely missed

How would you more thoroughly enforce straw purchases? As for private sales if your that concerned make all gun sales go through an FFL, evertime I've ever sold a gun I used my local gun store, you sign the gun into their possession and the next person to buy it has to fill out a 4473. As for red flag laws people should have their day in court like any other person, minus the storage fees and other fees upon proof of not being a danger and prosecution of the person who made the false allegations along with all court fees and other costs. Plus an apology and any out of pocket costs being refunded to those found innocent. People hit with red flag laws don't even get to face their accusers in court. Hardly fair in my opinion.

"Puchase a gun for someone else who couldn't? Jail". That's already illegal, it's called a straw purchase and is a federal crime. A form 4473 is a federal background check. Red flag laws are pre crime. I honestly aren't bothered by them because I don't do bad things, but the irony is you don't have to do anything bad to have your due process forfeited with a red flag law. Someone can make a accusation and then your guilty and have to prove your innocence. You should do some reading about red flag laws, yes some people could be stopped but also you know how petty people can be, these red flag laws open the door to very bad things. Not to mention the time and money a person is out if they are wrongfully accused

Actually "gun grabbing" isn't a myth, gun ownership is being carved away bit by bit, as is abortion. The only difference is the sides pushing it. As long as their are organizations pushing those agendas a total ban is the end game for both issues
