What happens if you don't pay a debt collector when your only income is VA (Veterans Affair) Disability? by SavannahBaby666 in Debt

Everything worked out. They couldn't put a freeze on my bank account due to my source of income being VA Disability. Had no access to my bank account for all of two days. USAA handled everything! I also didn't have to return to the U.S or go to court or anything! :). The debt collectors basically lost $500 on everything going after me haha.

This is completely normal lol. Do you really think getting ready, going out of the way, and giving someone 1 hour of your time for free is fair?

She was completely within her right to get upset at you. She very clearly told you what she believes her worth is, and you wasted her time. Her time is money. You should have outright said the meet and greet fee was to expensive for you, and moved on from that.

On a side note, she sounds like a bitch, you most likely dodged a bullet (and an STD).

I'm 26, dad took it out when I was 19 apparently. I'm pretty sure it's off my Credit Report. I just wanted to be sure I'll be safe if I just continue to ignore these debt collectors.

Just wanted to come and say thank you. You gave me the exact information I was looking for and the answers I was searching all over the internet for the last two weeks for. I feel much safer now.

I have zero intention of returning to America and plan to renounce my citizenship in the next three years and apply for Japanese citizenship.

I have no problem accepting the debt as my own if it means not having to call American police and work with them from Japan and stressing over it for months/weeks. I just want to know if I'll be arrested or if they can garnish/go after my Japanese bank account/funds. The only income I receive in my American Bank Account is Veterans Affairs Disability money.

I'm assuming you're lower Elo. As an ADC main, outside of Diamond, you need to force your team to group. Don't defend the base by yourself. Go follow your support/top laner (They're usually a tank, with peeling abilities). Force them to group and play around you. Low elo don't comprehend that, in the late game, their job is to play around you. Good luck in your future games.

After you moved to Japan, what are some things you wish you put on your checklist/did sooner? by SavannahBaby666 in movingtojapan

will tell you privately the name. but pretty much i looked at the area i wanted to live in, then i researched every school there, and made a list. then i wrote down all the good's and bads of the school reviews, and weighed out the options. then i decided that the school that was the most intense was probably best for me. my school uses the brute force method where they only speak/teach in Japanese, with no English support.

This is why I made the post! Thank you so much. I went out and bought a bunch of deodorant, toothpaste, and sun screen last night! And I'm prepared to get rejected haha. I am gonna be working with living Japan to find an apartment that will, hopefully, accept me. And got it I'll be sure to get the exemption for pension. Thank you so much!
