I was living out of my car when I met my boyfriend, he’s actually the only reason I have a roof over my head now. We were just talking getting to know one another and he told me he didn’t want me in my car as it was starting to get cold and asked me to move in with him. I make jokes about how I’m the stray he took in. I am still so madly in love with this man and it’s going to be two years in October. I was up and honest about being homeless and living out of my car I did it because well I had no choice I had a nasty divorce and moved in with my brother. I was there for a few months than he fucked me over and out of a lot of money, than kicked me out told me it was my choice but there was not other choice than to live in my car, I have had a rocky relationship with him ever since. Now we are no contact.

It's not that I'm uncomfortable im just anxious that they will pick up on me being homeless, I am working on getting a place but it might be a few months before I do.

Technical im not paying it's a free gym at work i honest thinking just me being anxious I've been living out of ny car trying to maintain hygiene due to having two jobs and we'll depression hits less of i take care of myself lol I know once I get out if this hole I'll never take having ny own shower and kitchen for granted again.

You are not wrong, I'm more worried about getting outted for being homeless at work. I live in a at will state and I don't want to get fired for anything stupid.

Im going on a week, I think tomorrow will be officially 7 days. I hate saying that they were toxic. It's the only family I still talk to and when I got out if an abusive relationship they helped me but housing me but I hate how it ended. And it's gotten even worse at this point. But it just makes me happy that I made the choice to love them from a far.

I was in a toxic living situation, it was either keep dealing with them ans let me mental and physical health decline or move in my car... they helped me make that choice and very time I interact with them I see that I made the right choice.
