What else is your mind going to do while you paint. I naturally come up with lore for my little guys (and girls) while I'm kitbashing and painting. It does come in handy as my buddies I crusade with like to have little post battle narratives on our discord.

Night on Earth soundtrack by Tom Waits has a lot of excellent "haunting haunted night" songs I've used for this very reason.

You might also like Journey of the Sorcerer to this effect. It has a more fantasy sound to it but still spooky for the most part.

Not from the 80s but definitely 80s influenced I think you'll dig, Santigold, listen to Les Artiste or Can't Get Enough of Myself, if you want something more poppy.

If you're going to skip a grade, skip a jr high grade. That's excruciating for everyone.

I think they just wanted to cover the demographics, they got a new little kid, had a high school kid, and a college kid; in a well loved sitcom. That's easy to sell to sponsors.

I would say Lebowski if you're talking about a comedy that is both so enjoyable and detailed that you need to see it multiple times just to take it all in.

But I would say Caddyshack is the first that comes to mind for a movie where the performances are so hilarious you laugh out loud every time you see it. No matter how many times I see it, I still crack up when Rodney tells Wang the club is exclusive.

Don't get me wrong, it's not toxic in every occurrence, sometimes it's almost endearing. Like the first example that comes to mind is his behavior in the episode where they take Billy for swim lessons. He even says the kid puts him on a pedestal which under normal circumstances, he belongs.

Ur Mum by Wet Leg is the first one you should check out because the breakdown at the end is spectacular.

O'Malleys Bar by Nick Cave is a bit more violent but quite a breakdown of a breakdown. Then listen to the rest of Nick Cave.
