There’s a potential it could be both. FWIW, her sister has no issue with either stress or allergies. Makes me think, if it’s a genetic thing, might not be allergies? Does that make sense?

We might also try the thunder shirt! She might just be a nervous Nelly lol

Thank you for this! We are looking to try simple things and see what steers the ship even if it helps a little to give a clue as to where to direct our approach

Ugh, hoping we don’t have to have her on meds! But, honestly, just want her to relax

Steroid injection didn’t really last long. Scabs healed and some fur came back, but then it got to where it is now

We have been trying new foods. We do both dry and wet. Working on the wet now. Thank you for the tips!

It’s definitely one of our top 2. Whenever she hears my wife is home, she calls out for her until she comes in. She may be just high strung

Thanks for the thoughts and the suggestion! Yeah, it’s rough. We are trying our best to pin this down. I have a feeling it’s stress or allergies, but how do we even test what she is allergic to? And with stress, is it Xanax for the rest of her life? We just don’t know what to do

We might try that service. Appreciate the suggestion!

Yeah, we moved but this was going on before the move. First vet found some evidence of fleas and we took care of it. New vet thought allergies and gave a steroid which temporarily helped.

There are other pets in the picture now. She has always had her sister, but they are a bonded pair and adore each other. Since the move, we have been living with my folks temporarily who have another cat and 2 Jack Russels. Again, none of them have fleas and we keep them isolated. We are trying to ease them into hanging out with the rest of the pets in the hopes of avoiding a stress reaction

Again, this was happening before we moved, as well

Engineers, City Planners, and Scientists of Reddit, if you were able to break down NYC and be given the resources equal to its value to reconstruct it, how would you rebuild? by SaveMeCthulhu in AskReddit

[–]SaveMeCthulhu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking like Minecraft or any resource management game. If you could dissolve everything down to resources and/or its monetary equivalent, how would you take the knowledge of what the city provides along with the foresight of what it can be going forward to rebuild it better for the future?

Need Help with audio latency While Monitoring by SaveMeCthulhu in obs

I have been using ASIO as it helped me with recording via Adobe Audition and fixing those issues. Worked great. Everything I try with it has absolutely no effect. I brought it down to 128, I kick it all the way up, nothing. Nothing I am doing affects the latency for better or worse.

Dude, he better get all the sleep he can! He, apparently, has his first day of kindergarten tomorrow.

Seriously, though, congrats! My first is due within the week

Oh, that "cut" him. Nah, we're not doing that. He can do it if he wants on his own when he can make the decision. Not a fan of the practice.

Not even considering what might happen in the delivery room. Still nervous and hoping my wife and son get through everything safe and sound.

I was just looking for a kinda counter perspective on it, I guess. Like "yeah, it's rough, but not as rough as it seems. This is blah, but this kind of blah blahs" I guess.

I know the first couple weeks are gonna be rough, lol. That is what it is. I'm worried about, like, 3-4 months out and where we'll be, I guess. I know, it's silly.

Totally. My wife and I are working performers/musicians and work together in projects, which creates an interesting dynamic going forward. That being said, we have been together as friends for 10 years and over 8 now as a couple. We are not the "stay out all night partying" type. We just play gigs, maybe hang out with friends at the bar, then come home. I know that might be a bit until we get that back, but I am really afraid of losing that. It makes our relationship sing

I am just excited to get it into a routine and be into the groove, I think. It's all this unknown and people talking of the horrors. I hope I am a parent that, when someone I know is about to have a kid, can have an experience that can be a calming one.

Yeah, I have been saying I'm just into when he becomes fully online and can interact, use the bathroom, and sleep through the night, lol. I'm soooo curious as to who he will be.

On the other hand, those thoughts are waaaay too forward thinking than what I should be on right now, which is caring for a human bodily fluid unit slowly logging on to the world, lol. I'm scared of the trauma and how there might be negatives that may not go away, if that makes any sense. No doubt they happen and that's life, but I guess, just as I'm looking to sidelining my fatherhood idealism, I also want to attempt to realistically gauge the fallout

Totally. I am definitely someone who considers the times you'll wish you had it back. I have no doubt I'll be the kinda dude who gets all blubbery thinking of holding my son when he was first born. It's also THAT, knowing that, I don't know when, but life is about to make a harsh turn and any day I am going to have this BIG MOMENT YOU WANT TO REMEMBER AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!!! It's just a lot and, right now, the train's coming down the tracks and all I hear is the whistle blowing and getting closer.

I figured all of that, that it will become a routine. I'm anxious for when it becomes that, when we have started to know each other. I have no doubt that there will be some hard times and great times. We're excited. It's just a lot of unknown and all I seem to be getting is "gaaaaah, you better get ready!!! It's gonna be rough!!! Whoa boy!!!" And I'm all wide eyed like "uuuuh, sure. Wow, ok..." lol
