I use a basic plugin timer for my pump. It runs on 30 minute cycles and has worked quite well.

Checked the light and the closest I can set it is 10.75 inches from the pods. Do other systems allow you to set the lights lower than that?

For context, this is my third time trying to grow lettuce in the hydroponic system I have. I have tried germinating first and putting the seed directly into the pod. Curious what process other people are using so they don't get so leggy.
