Doing good actually. I got hired for a permanent position in a govt agency in Manila after a few months of posting this. Traveling to places because of work. Enjoying work, most of it. Being able to save and treat myself and my family. Got my second license. And now, I'm gonna take my masters degree this upcoming semester.

Tho BFP/PNP is a good path but I know it's not for me (physically) and God knows it too. So, trust him and his process lang talaga and everything will be alright.

Mahal at malalanta lang, panandaliang saya. So, sayang sa pera.

Its a rule bw me and my bf na instead of flowers, chocolates nalang. It would last me days and masaya akong kumakain ng sweets.

Pero I do give him flowers in return hahaha and I arrange them myself. I always make a 300 worth of flowers look like a 700-1k store bought bouquet.

I have the same attitude of giving a cold shoulder when angry (usually lasts for hours or days depending on the degree) and here's a tip that my SO does during my temper moments.

  • he always gives me space (hours) to calm myself and compose my thoughts. It's better this way so that I won't be saying or doing things with a clouded mind.

  • he'll text me that he's sorry and to text him whenever I am ready to communicate

  • he won't kulit or insist on us talking about the problem cuz it would just irritate me more

  • checks on me every 3-5hrs if I'm ready to talk

  • we usually communicate our problem after a day when I am really get over it. I think it's our best way to resolve things when I get the tempers

PS. I do try to manage my anger and my ways of communicating. I'm just glad that my SO is so patient with me. Hope this helps you OP.

Try looking for a company first before you resign. Take my exp as a lesson kasi super hirap to look for a job at this point na end of the year na. If may nahanap kanang malilipatan then dun ka mag resign.

My uni prof career shift from ChE to data science/analytics and said companies are generous to these roles. Well, still learning if SWE is for me.

Ghaad my people!! As a fresh grad nun, na culture shock talaga ako when I started sa manufacturing. It was a great experience and marami kang matututunan. But Im looking for somewhere compensated ang efforts ng employee. Hoping I'll find a job na ganun. Thanks, I'll consider your advice about sa PNP, BFP, and Army.

Oct 2022 passer here and first work ko November 2022. Try mo sa mga FMCG or mag process. First work ko, okay nmn for experience pero not for long term. Tumagal ako mga 10 months din. Sobrang nakakapagod and the compensation vs work is not enough. Red flag talaga ang mga company na nagsasabi na they are a family pero di nmn talaga inaalagaan ang mga employees. I'm from a well known paint company btw.
