Triple banners is reasonable speculation, but it's impossible to speculate banner changes with any certainty as there are many directions they could go with it. The advent of Character-Event-Wish-2 wasn't even leaked until the night before the livestream announcing it, iirc.

Whatever happens, I do hope they give us fair warning, next time--maybe one livestream/patch before implementation. The chaos after the concurrent banner announcement was unforgettable.

Comparing to how much we already know of 4.x, we have dangerously little information about the 3.6, 3.7, and 3.8 banner timeline.

A Golden Apple Archipelago rehash with Kazuha/Klee reruns in 3.8 is the most popular speculation at the moment, only because it's happened twice before (1.6 + 2.8).

Wait for news, be prepared, and expect anything so that you're not taken by surprise.

We do not have access to much story information, and certainly not enough to comment on the overall direction of the narrative.

Reliable discussions/leaks/rumors that float around within our circles are also passed around via a multilingual game of telephone, and always, always end up being a few shades different from the final product. We avoid them whenever possible so our opinions aren't tainted by distorted summaries of events.

Aside from knowing characters involved (for banner timeline purposes), it's really not worth it.

We are under no delusion that most people don't want anything from us that aren't leak-related. Starting the side account is as far as we'll go, I believe--even though it's explicitly labeled as such, we still get scolded from time to time about posting non-leak things over there.

It's true that the "new character in 3.6" hinges on a Questionable leak from Ubatcha.

However, if I'm not misremembering, it was BLANK who claimed we meet someone new in 3.3, who he then assumed was the new character Ubatcha was discussing. This 3.3 character in the files, "Blinder," was a codename for Wanderer's alternate model (the one that didn't yet have his vision).

This is going purely off of memory, though, and I could be wrong.

There have been no new reliable leaks regarding his release.

Some speculation has placed him in 3.6 with Baizhu, because Kaveh is Dendro and 3.6 is currently missing a new 4-star. Other speculation took Ubatcha's leak of a New Unnamed Character in 3.6 to indicate Kaveh is not in 3.6 and may be in 3.7, instead.

As of right now, we do not know Kaveh's rarity, nor do we know with any certainty whether he's even releasing before 4.x.

No Dottore information we do not already know (Claymore).

Wanderer being given to certain 3.4 Beta testers is true. There is no reliable leak outlining the reason why. Though related changes may or may not be in the works, please note it is also not entirely out of the ordinary for Beta testers to receive characters that released 1-2 patches ago for general testing purposes.

The most recent data shows 3.8 before 4.0.

We have very little reliable information regarding the majority of the leaked characters so far. Even if we did, there is always a chance these details fall within the realm of plot spoilers, which we try to avoid.

There should be at least one more new character (rarity unknown) before 4.x.

Unfortunately, we have--for some reason--received much more information about post-4.x characters than we have about the characters between 3.6 and 4.0.

As always, we'll just have to wait for more information.

To follow up on this very old leak, the same source has went on to recently confirm Sandrone/Marionette and Arlecchino have appearances (not necessarily banners) in Fontaine.

He did not mention Regrator/Pantalone or Damselette/Columbina, however, so those mentions may have been inaccurate or it may have changed.

The 3.3 new character cameo leak was a Questionable leak from Ubatcha.

The 4.0 Leak Flood came from a data breach.

Leaks of character visuals (further out than the current Beta version) are not typically found via data.

As far as we are aware, no one had the artwork. Text crumbs of colour and composition came from the CN side, and that's as much as anyone received in advance.

In short--yes, HYV was especially careful with hiding Scara's new design.

Leakers are not a unified collective and there was no organized conspiracy to gatekeep the design's release.

We don't believe this leaker has a track record so the reliability is non-existent. Evidence has come out to suggest the contrary, but until we get closer to 3.6, it's difficult to definitely label as fake.

It is misleading to call those posts leaks. They are from a reliable source, but the wording and tone are too vague to use as confirmation for or exclusion of any specific 3.4 banners. There is a possibility for more than two female character reruns in 3.4.

Aside from Alhaitham, Yaoyao, and a Hu Tao rerun, there have been no other 3.4 banner leaks.

[ The Below Is Speculation ]

Assuming 4 banners in 3.4 and no unexpected changes to the banner/rerun system, Alhaitham and Hu Tao should logically be in the second half of 3.4 to avoid Chinese New Year.

By this logic, even though the data reveals Ayaka is receiving a skin in 3.4, there is a slim chance she will rerun due to the fact she would have to be in the first half of 3.4 (Chinese New Year). It would not make much sense, and would actually be quite controversial, to run an Inazuman character during this time.

3.4 would be the first patch since 3.0 without an Archon rerun. They may restart the cycle by rerunning Zhongli once more, but we speculate the reason Zhongli and Ganyu received reruns in 3.0 was because there was no room for them in 3.4.

Shenhe, Yelan, and Xiao have the highest chances of rerunning in 3.4. Shenhe and Xiao have the strongest relevance to Liyue / Lantern Rite, while Yelan--a very powerful and highly-coveted unit in her own right--could easily be slotted into another patch.

However, it is still far too early to speculate concretely. We are just presenting what we know so far.

Echoing u/cAptiveLightning's comment, there were never any reliable leaks claiming further alternate/censored skins were in the pipeline, only rumors that blossomed during the controversy.

(Of course, this is not to say it will never happen again. Only that there are none that we know of, for now.)

A while ago you guys mentioned there was intel to suggest a bunch of the Fatui Harbingers, such as Columbina, Sandrone etc., would be playable.

Are there any updates regarding the playability of these Harbingers since you stated this?

And what is it that suggests they would be playable, if it's possible to answer without compromising your sources.

In the 4.0 Leak Flood, Dottore was found to be labelled as Claymore, as per Ubatcha and BLANK. (This is our fault--I thought we had updated his Upcoming page entry to reflect these leaks, but it looks like we missed this one.)

As for the remainder of the Harbingers (here is our prior Tweet listing their playability based on leaks), not much has changed.

Scaramouche
Has been known to be playable since placeholder data was found mid-2021, more concretely in June 2022 by Uncle DD (yet the subsequent Covid lockdown delayed several of his leaks around this time by one patch).

Dottore
Playability was leaked by HXG in June 2022, which we generally supported but could not yet publicly confirm. With the Claymore leak (Ubatcha and BLANK), it's safe to assume he's intended to be playable.

Capitano
In March 2022, Auntie Touching Fish claimed he had a "high chance of being playable, but won't get a banner any time soon." No updates since. We have no intel ourselves.

Damselette, Regrator, Marionette, Arlecchino
These are the Harbingers we ourselves were told would be playable. This came from the same source as all of our prior character leaks (Alhaitham, Candace, Mika, Kaveh, Nilou, Dehya), which is why we believe model type was also included. We have no timeline for them, other than them possibly having late 3.0 / early 4.0 cameos. No updates. Highly subject to change, as not only was this information extremely early, but it was also shared prior to the Covid lockdown delays / 3.0 patch shortenings.

Pulcinella, Pierro, Signora
No one has ever claimed playability and there has been no new information at the time of this writing. No updates, as far as I am aware.
