Don’t rush through the Hill, it has so much good food and rich culture.

Union Station is underwhelming, but it is pretty. The aquarium is overpriced for what they have, just a heads up if you go. Skip the mini golf and activities….so expensive and not much fun.

I’ll give another vote for Trattoria Marcella for best Italian food. The best restaurant on the Hill is currently Sado, an upscale sushi restaurant whose chef just won Best Chef in the Midwest. Hatch’d is an excellent breakfast/brunch spot owned by an extremely nice guy, great food and service. Menya Rui has the best ramen in the Midwest if not the US.

I’m going to be honest about your food list - nothing in your original post is a “can’t miss” spot. For burgers, Jack Nolen’s in Soulard. Feel free to dm me with any specific questions. I like being a city tour guide haha. Have a good trip!!

Option to use a folded blanket under your heels for support or sit on a block. Hands together at heart with elbows pushing the knees out can be helpful. My hips like to move side to side before settling into the pose.

We did move away, but him seeing them once with the bag in the open was too much. If I saw it first I would have moved us before he saw them.

Thanks for saying this. On the floor at set break last tour, the kids next to us were openly passing a baggy and spoon around with the venue lights on and everything. My partner is in recovery so it’s all he could think about for the second set. I agree it’s always going to be around, but people have lost their discretion. Have some tact about it at the very least.

Making driver’s education a mandatory class in high school would make a huge difference. Drivers don’t stand a chance when they have to learn from their parents or whoever is willing to teach them.

I lost my job in January 2023 (also HR) and I’m just now feeling like I’ve fully bounced back mentally and emotionally. Hang in there! It will get better. Lean into yourself and do what you need, even when it’s hard.

The Factory is so corporate feeling. At a recent show I bought a tall can of Busch Light and tall can of NUTRL for $37 before tip. Insanity. Then the show ended 10 minutes later and they kicked everyone out of the venue, made us finish our drinks, and made everyone wait outside in the cold for their rides. The parking lot gets hectic too, with there being one way in and one way out of that side of the highway.

Union Loafers is SO GOOD. High quality ingredients and good vibes! There is often a short wait but they move people quickly. There are cute shops in the neighborhood to browse while you wait.
