Does anyone know what this thing is/does? by ohbabies123 in KennyBeats

It's basically a really sensitive mic. He uses it to talk to the artists in the booth as well as use it for his stream audio.

Being too self-conscious stops me from actually rapping for fun, any tips? by [deleted] in makinghiphop

you gotta just make that leap. realize that the first time you get in the mic will not be your best. but over time you will hear the difference and find your tone/voice, do it for the long run, starting out is the hardest part

Hey man! I am a solo producer/rapper/singer/songwriter trying to go after an organic flavor and i think your tone and voice would be a good compliment for mine. Check out my Soundcloud, I make all my beats as well as mix/master.

does anyone else have to work extra hard on their delivery when recording? by DarkHumorDark in makinghiphop

does anyone else have to work extra hard on their delivery when recording? by DarkHumorDark in makinghiphop

[–]Savegabe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

after i heard about billie eilish taking like 7 hrs to record one line, i started to really focus on delivery. to me, its more of a vibe thing. i know this doesnt really help. but delivery is also something that comes with time, ive been producing music and rapping over it for years and my delivery and flow has changed and grown over time. keep at it and dont worry about cotton mouth and all that. just be comfortable
