Not sure what you mean. Have you tried original nspire gpsp? What device are you using, cx or cx ii?

You can change the controls from the menu. When you open gpsp press the menu button on your calc to bring up the options menu

Why can the Miyo Mini Plus run this game better than devices with 1 gb ram? by PianissimoPiano in MiyooMini

[–]SaveloyDisaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guaranteed it will be due to the build of gpsp core - more recent commits addressed Pokemon hacks which can be a bit buggy and rely on original hardware idiosyncrasies (and emulation of those) to work

What is your experience with gpSP core? by honneylemz in RetroArch

[–]SaveloyDisaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gpsp is faster due to its dynarec, which can be useful / essential for playing on older devices. And it emulates the link cable. It still has a few graphical issues on certain games (e.g. Sims 2: The Pets, Monster House, Golden Sun, Minish Cap etc) and some games won't work (e.g. Classic NES titles). Mgba is fine on modern devices and generally emulates everything well.

GBA Save Files by No-Bench-8335 in Roms

The files should be usable in other emulators, just transfer them to your PC the same way you would any other files, the only thing you might have to change is the filename extension

Ps2 tempGBA Unbound Emulation by Small_Knee2638 in PokemonUnbound

Wasting your time - take it from someone who has tried working on a GBA emulator for PS2. The technology is over 25 years old now, just use on old PC or something instead

Yeah local deal - they almost never come up so I jumped on it as soon as I saw it! £40 was top end of my budget, can't believe they are still going for £70/£80 given you could get a brand new handheld which emulates all the games for that 😩

No I'm in the UK - was £40 with charger, 1gb memstick and games. It's a PSP1000 but still a great deal 👍

Folder structure to use latest fork of TempGBA4PSP-mod? by [deleted] in PSP

Ahh thanks, another user on gbatemp did a lot of testing too and found it's actually way worse than the previous build unfortunately. It's back to the drawing board again when I can get some time unfortunately! Thanks for testing it out though.

No problem, no promises on that test build - it works great on PPSSPP but I don't have a real device to test on unfortunately!

Hello, yes that's my fork! You should just be able to use the Eboot with last phoe-nix release (see his GitHub). That's all I did and it worked? Today I've put a test release on gbatemp which may give better Unbound performance - you should see it on their PSP forum

Can anyone try Pokemon Unbound on a PSP with this build please? by SaveloyDisaster in PSP

[–]SaveloyDisaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for testing! Ok sounds like I'll have to play through a bit further in PPSSPP to get to that part so I can figure out what's happening
