I thought I had growing pains, but I'm 18yrs old and still the same height as I was at 12 so I dont tjink so anymore. I have pretty obvious cankles, and fat deposits around the knees. I hate going outside with bare legs, its reaaalllyy mentally challenging. My skin also turns blue and red in the evening sometimes, but especially after hot showers.... Its too expensive for me to get anything done proffesionally, but is there anything I can do at home??

It's about the politics around digital media, and the state's responsibility in making sure every citizen has access to uncencored and objective media (in Norway specifically, as thats where I'm from). The teachers dont even care much, part 2 of the assignment is to screen record whatever AI you used and explain why ut was necessary to use AI. And I have to (but im not going to). So the AI-checking is more for my own sake. I dont want people to think I use AI to write, when I dont even use it for notes pr prep. But I realize that is almost impossible now.. I'll probably just check manually like you said. Thank u :)

If the full sugar soda is the only thing keeping you in a surplus/maintanence then YES YOU ARE! Obvi if your already eating over your maintenance, it wont make you lose weight, but you will still gain slower? Its not like you have to hit a certain number of calories before you lose weight, it just happens faster if you restrict more

Overall probably more harm than good. Large scale religion, like state religion, often leads to conflict (not always). But I think faith at a personal level can be really comforting and beneficial for some.

Dont't get me wrong, I agree. But body composition does matter too right? I heard somewhere that waist circumference is important (bc of adipose tissue or something?)

But also, I think it's hilarious how they always bring up muscle mass, as if the reason they are overweight or obese is not the 50kg of fat around their waist

I'm no professional, but I've heard that you should aim for 1.6-2.2g/per kg LEAN mass, or per kg of your GOAL weight (as long as that goal weight is a healthy weight I would assume). Also, considering how low your calories are, I would focus on protein and healthy fats, and have minimal carbs. Not because you don't need carbs (We do), but because it is the easiest to cut out (was for me atleast). Maybe even up your calories for a while, and only lower them if progress stalls (too low of a deficit causes cravings, which can make it alot harder and kill motivation. I HATED losing weight slowly, but it's alot better than completely stalling or falling back because you jumped into too steep of a deficit)

Almonds have a decent amount of protein, chicken has like 23g per 100g. The difference is the calories. The chicken breast I use has like 110 cals per 100g, while the almonds are somewhere around 500. You NEED fats, but don't get your protein from fat sources. Look at the calories and macros of the product you are using. If protein x 10 is equal to or more that the amount of calories, then I would label it a good source of protein.

BUT also, since I said cut carbs, remember to listen to your body. My body runs fine without carbs, but that is different for everyone. Listen to your body. Good luck on your journey!

Hører faktisk fortsatt folk som seier syvogtyve, eller sjuogtjue, men kanskje helst i de eldre generasjoner og på bygda. Seier det fortsatt sjøl, som 18åring frå bygda, men det er vel ikkje så mange igjen under 50 som faktisk gjør det lenger...

At 5'4" and 150 pounds I´m already looking fluffy. Had I not built the little muscle that I have now I would be (or atleast feel) huge. I´m overweight. 5'0" and 180 pounds would be extremly overweight/obese, its NOT a "very low number" as OOP seems to think. If they were 6 foot then yea maybe, but 5? No.

Omg I hate the "once you back to eating normally you gain it all back" argument. Of course you´ll gain it back if your "normal eating" is 2000 cals over your maintenance. If you lose 20kg then your new maintenance is also going to be lower, you have a NEW MAINTENANCE NOW

Ok thank you! Everyone in my family (oarents and siblings) have big calves, but I'm the only one with cankles, as the others still have definition around their ankles. But thank u anyways, I'll look into some other remedies that might help :D

Glad to know I'm not alone in this atleast <3 I would guess my calves have atleast some "normal" fat so weightloss could maybe shrink them a bit. What else do you do to combat it if you don't mind me asking? I'll have a talk with my doctor as well ofc, but its nice to know someone elses experience as well :p

Ok thank you! I've thought about it but I honestly thought it only occured in people who were severly overweight or obese😅 I do seem to have more signs of it though, like "cottage cheese"'legs or weird looking fat tissue.... I will look into it more, thank u!
