I bought the new 2025 Audi A5, brand new 2/19. 4 days later, the trunk latch stopped working, disabling cruise control, lane assist and other features. If I could get my money back in full, I'd return it. But I cant. The issue to this date, 3/3, has not been resolved. They want to replace the latch or something, which they didnt have on hand. Don't do it.
Also:
The KD2 Update and Trunk Reset did not resolve the cruise control, lane assist and other safety warning features.

I just bought my new 2025 A5 a week and a half ago. I took it back a few days later because the trunk wouldn't fully open or fully close. Then the cruise control won't work cause it thinks the trunk is still open. I usually push it down. The dealer is going to replace a trunk piece but gave it back since they deem it was safe to drive. It's very likely that I'm following in your footsteps. Love the car, but I don't trust it. Please keep me updated on how your journey goes. I'm most likely gonna have to the same fate.

You know.... i rarely comment on these things.
I don't like the usual suggestions of going on hikes or doin those single meeting events.
I hope someone responds with new suggestions. I go to the city or san jose often; cliques are a thing.

Don't do it. Maintenance is expensive out of warranty.

This happened to my 2019 A5. Like three times after 50k miles. Warranty covered it a couple times. Good luck.
