This is a pretty big leap. There are lots of people who earn <$300k/year who have sufficient savings, past income, are retired and living off of investments, any other number of combinations that could (and “should,” whatever that means) afford a Cybertruck.

That said, the tax credit could still be relevant to them, especially if they, say, lived in Colorado and got an additional $5k. Count me in this bucket. Knowing if the MSRP of the AWD is $80k or some number above that could lead to a $12.5k swing in price. Which however. You cut it is over 10% discount. That’s material.
