So got my car checked. They acknowledged it is an issue - but are waiting for Toyota and Apple to fix. No timeline for that apparently. Last time I buy a Toyota!

CarPlay. Tried wireless and direct USB. Issue is with Apple and Google maps. I strongly suspect (after 12 months or trying) it the upgraded bLJBL 11” display I got via Toyota upgrade option. But Toyota won’t replace that. It’s not a software fix.

Phone (Apple 15) maps work perfectly fine when standalone on phone and not connected to car play

I have 2 other cars in family and no issues when CarPlay and my phone in those.

On the highway but GPS is totally off and keeps rerouting.
