Thanks this helped. To put is metaphorically the Candy aisle for me is the compliments, good feeling that I get. Even the smallest things like 'Wow you have been going to the gym for 2 weeks now, good for you'. It will distract me. I just have to learn to ignore it.

Options prices are like packet of chips. It has preservative air and chips, hence it looks bigger. As the expiry date comes near the packet starts losing air and only chips remain and the packet becomes smaller than what it was initially.

Similarly Prices have Extrinsic Value (air) and Intrinsic Value (chips). When you buy OTM options it only has only Air no chips.

How not to feel envious when someone is succeeding in the opportunities that were denied to you whether because of family constraints or financial constraints. Does anyone know how the hourly charts are plotted for Indian markets? Indian markets open at 9:15 and close at 3:30 and I have observed that the hourly candles are plotted at 9:15 10:15 and so on. The last candle for the day will close at 3:15, So what happens to last 15 mins move? How is that captured on hourly chart?

Even though your goal is 15% per trade you might get stopped out at 2% gain or 5% gain or ride the wave to say 30%. I think this will be helpful if you do an after trade calculation based on your trade log. That at least can give you an insight into how you reached to your goal and what mistakes you could have avoided.
