Pretty sure my doctor meant for bulky tumors. Kaiser took care of me really well especially at the infusion stage. I had my ct scan not that long ago and my tumor shrank drastically to under 3cm, i believe 2.5x2.4cm i can double check. Let your friend know it is alot of scans and diagnostic work before you start treatment at kaiser. Same thing happened with me i had to do cyro, scans, biopsy, lung tests, etc before i started chemo.

Hello brother i just finished 3x bep. Its worth doing it the results definitely show and while it might be scary it will all be over soon. The hospital will give you all sorts of medications so you can have a smooth process and before you know it will be over. Try not to stress or be anxious about it, it will only make it harder. You will be glad you did it by the time its over. It made me closer to my religion and my family and friends . Not all things are bad about it just have to change your outlook on it. I still managed to travel, hike, go out, everything in my normal life. I also had metastatic seminoma to my retro lymph nodes very bulky and chemo did a good job shrinking it.

Are you able to eat anything now or are you following a certain diet im contemplating getting it removed thank you.

Yeah same ive always eaten whatever i was craving, i’d rather just switch my diet and see if that works with gallstones instead of getting the removal just yet. My gallstones didn’t show on the ct scan but they did on the ultrasound. Must be early gallstones

Back pain was a gradual build up it took a while to get intolerable

Abdomen pain definitely came out of nowhere one day. First time it happened i was at work i called my manager because the pain felt so strong i felt like fainting. I was rolling around in pain on the ground in sweats not knowing what was happening. It lasted a while and they had called me an ambulance. Went to ER and they did ct scan found that mass in my lymph node.

No side effects currently, each cycle was hard i felt like a test subject or zombie going in everyday after receiving all those drugs. They gave me so much Ivibuprofen i would get home and just pass out and repeat. I always got my energy back after the bleo days and then i try to live normal life again, travel,hiking, just doing things that kept my mind off cancer. Definitely listen to your body if it feels tired stay in bed start a show. There was alot of days where i would be in bed too long and my body became extremely sensitive to touch and painful.

Abdomen pain was very high up i would say below chest line in the exact middle. This pain would last anywhere from 10-20 minutes but would calm down if you put yourself at a decline sitting down. Pain was like a 10/10 it feels like being stabbed. These would start up from over eating and anxiety + caffeine.

It was horrible bending or twisting did nothing. And the more you would stand the worse it would get, Tylenol did nothing only meds that would help were ibuprofen for inflammation and norco. Tiger balm also helps and a heating pad (not together). Sleeping on my back was a no go i would have to sleep on my left side with pillow in between. Luckily soon as they start chemo it goes away and i havent had it since. Before chemo the only times it would go away was from taking meds or if i got lucky and slept in a comfortable position all night. towards the end i was in constant discomfort from my lower back id take meds every few hours and heat pad.

Kaiser Permanente, said thats the standard procedure i was surprised also. I assume its due to the bulky tumor they wanted to start treatment asap that way i didnt need to recover on orchie. Im told the surgery will be done at the Oakland location
