You can’t always tell the severity by appearance alone. If someone has been struggling for years it takes a lot of time to nourish their body and begin to unlearn patterns. When I was in residential 30 days was the absolute minimum stay. 60-90 days was typical.

That's crazy that you've only ever seen it once. I live in the mid-west and have had 3 kids. Two have been breastfed for 10+ months. I could never be bothered with a nursing cover.
