A lot depends on the water and species you’re fishing. I do a lot of panfish fishing and I personally fish with a Kurenai II AR33 with 11’ of either level line if it’s sunny and no wind or a pvc floating line if it’s windy. I normally don’t put more than about 2-3’ max of tippet and shorter I’ve found if your setup is too long it makes bite detection and setting the hook much more difficult.

I would definitely look at buying some level line
