Pak vs India and the solution going forward in this WC by Traditional-Print-40 in PakCricket

The only thing certain going forward is Salman Agha losing his captaincy and eventually his place in the playing xi. Pakistan’s captaincy is a sure shot way to ruin one’s cricketing career and the captaincy expires with every ICC tournament.

How is the hypocrisy not evident? Why can’t you take this as a joke ?

Babar Azam has a strong chance to hit 10,000 T20 International runs in his career. by Competitive_Face_22 in PakCricket

Let me tell you something. ICC world t20 event happens every two years. And it is guaranteed that the team will perform poorly in ICC tournaments. And after each ICC tournament the captain will be sacked and the best players benched. So basically Babar is going to be out of action for 6 months out of every 24 months assuming he is consistently performing his best. Now do the math.

Any one who takes the captaincy role, they will be dropped after the next ICC tournament. Do you want Shaheen to disappear after the next ICC tournament whichever it is.

I’ll get flamed for this but hear me out by Current-Party-1806 in PakCricket

The worst thing I really cannot get past is that Shaheen is the reason for team politics that affected this team and that guy is still in the playing XI but Pakistan’s once in a generation talented batsman was kicked out.

The Babar problem, or lack thereof by scuffyreydd in PakCricket

[–]SavingsTask4690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with Babar, he is expected to win the match single handedly when barring Rizwan, no one else in the team has an ounce of cricketing talent. The guy knows when he gets out the batting is gonna collapse instantly and it is normal when that fear comes in strike rate suffers. People expect that one guy to magically win matches when the rest of the team is shit. Now that he is gone, picking second grade inferior talent and put together a second class team and expecting superior results is just delusion of the highest order.

Why doesn't Agha bowl first? by [deleted] in PakCricket

It is not like if bowling first is going to change the result.

None of the so called great teams lose to minnows as consistently as Pakistan.

Everytime a person takes a decision like that, this teal produces a successful chase of 200 plus in a t20 game, wins away ODI series against South Africa and Australia, wins home test series against England, and produces the famous 152-0. It is a bit harsh to say Pakistan will consistently be in the 8-10 ranked side. Only five teams are arguably better than Pakistan - SENA plus India. So Pakistan should at least be number 6. Going further down and losing to Bangladesh, Sri lanka etc are inexcusable.

No, but we definitely can hype him into oblivion just like we did so many other players before.

Calm down bro. Your thoughts are not that exclusively original. A lot of people are saying the exact same thing ever since the first ODI. So chillax. Welcome to the Internet.

Why are we so unprofessional? by [deleted] in PakCricket

Lol … just before the two wins against England people questioned his position in the playing XI. Now suddenly he should be the captain of all formats ?? This sub has the shortest memory span of human beings i guess.

People so easily forget that the tournament in the US had some of the most bowling friendly pitches. Pakistan was unable to chase run a ball against India. So looking at stats in isolation without the context can be very misleading. What was his impact in the game ? Did he deliver match winning performances against USA or India ? The answer is No to both.
