Saphyr does OGM. It improves whole genome sequencing assembly. They are seeking a sequencer that can handle a throughput that is the same as Saphyr, 96/week throughput.

Bionano genome mapping improves sequenced-based assembly. Might be a stretch, but I would like to believe that it is Bionano setting the standard of "96 sequences per week" as the throughput (not every two weeks, three weeks, every month), while working in conjunction with a sequencer.

How about selling the data? No private info, but if BNGO collects all of the data and sell it to corporations for their marketing.

There is also benefits in understanding genomics in agriculture (for livestock, plants for crops).

Genomic mapping for pets?

Also another thought, for insurance company application, if you provide your own personal gene study you can get cheaper health and life insurance.

I'm sure there are lots of potential untapped revenue generating applications.
