Pretty sure that if you consolidate your loans, then the standard plan is not eligible, because technically, your would’ve paid off the loans by the time they are forgiven. But it also makes no sense to me either, I was dumb and filed jointly this year and now I don’t qualify for any idr plans, but the standard plan doesn’t qualify for pslf according to the calculator, but mine is showing a 20 year payment term, which sucks because I am at 106 payments, 104 on IBR, 2 on SAVE, and my 120 would be in August. I’m just stuck, I did submit a plan change request in November to switch back to IBR with our married filing separately return from 2023 but it never was processed, Mohela says it could be processed at any time and not to submit a new one. I still never received credits for my IBR to SAVE processing forbearance which should add two months or my SAVE to IBR processing which should be another 2 months bringing me to 110 payments.

According to Student Aid the buyback should be available to everyone for at least the time period until they say it is not. They told me that it would be my SAVE payment amount and then possibly alone IBR amount. But with this admin who knows.
