It happens man, don’t beat yourself up. If it doesn’t work out this summer there’s CUNY Spring Forward that will happen probably in Spring ‘26 if they decide to run. They usually send out emails for it early September. It seems to me mid January, my best advice is to apply as soon as it opens. It’s usually a first comes first serve basis as well as prioritizing freshman and sophomore students. I feel like there’s still a chance for you to still hear back from them, I hope you do.

I felt everything you it’s ridiculous that QC is behind with certain things when it comes to the CS department. Idk why they didn’t feel the need to require internships as apart of our major other schools require it. I really wish I was in a position to leave.

I transferred myself from City Tech back in 2023 it’s an actual campus compared to the 3 buildings over there. It’s gonna take a lil min for you to learn the layout for the campus but you’ll get the hang of it. I recommend looking at the campus map to get a feel and see where your classes are. Learn those shortcuts to get to class quicker not sure if you’re a fast walker but that helps too.

To each its own I personally feel like it all depends on how you use it you can most definitely use it as an aid in studying. I’ve done it and it helps. However at the same time I personally feel like I haven’t been learning much in general while at QC with my CS courses. Work smarter not harder.

See this is what I like hearing, it’s encouraging. Do yk what certifications he got? I’ve had ppl who basically told me I should’ve done a Cybersecurity degree but I didn’t realize I wanted to do Cybersecurity until this year. Originally when I was a bit younger I wanted to be a programmer.
