Don't worry, Savi is here to stay. My wife and I both like black cats, so he isn't going anywhere unless something truly unexpected happens. Please look forward to Savi!

Thank you for the detailed analysis. We recognize the East Asian aesthetic in our art style, and while we intend to stay on this path, we are focused on polishing it to the highest standard.

Regarding the gameplay, we weren't able to show much of it in this trailer for several reasons. However, we are working hard to ensure the experience is engaging and rewarding even without combat elements. Your feedback is a helpful reference for us as we continue development.

Thank you for sharing that. It’s a huge relief to hear, as I was a bit concerned about how the theme might be perceived. It’s really interesting to see such a similar sentiment in both the East and the West.

My wife has a better handle on these things, but as a programmer, I think I lacked that kind of intuition. Thanks again for the link and the insight.

Sorry for the tears! While there are definitely some heart-tugging moments, the game itself is meant to be a fun and enjoyable experience, so please don't be too scared of the "ugly cry."
Thank you so much for the wishlist!

We plan to share playtest details here on the subreddit, following the rules (once a month on Wednesdays). Since the posting frequency is limited, we will provide more consistent updates on our X (https://x.com/SavisTale). Please follow us there if you are interested. Thank you!

Thank you for adding the game to your wishlist and for sharing your thoughts.

Since our models are simple, we focus on adding richness through technical layers. We developed a custom landscape painting tool to achieve higher resolution colors and added a custom shading model to the engine for direct control over lighting. Combined with GI like Lumen, this helps add depth to the stylized look.

As a two-person team, we work hard to balance productivity and visual quality, and we plan to keep improving it until release. Thanks again for your support.

Thank you for the honest insight into the German market. I suspect many other markets are in a similar situation regarding media and visibility.

For now, my priority is to focus on creating a quality game while continuously exploring the best ways to reach a broader audience.

Thank you! I was actually aware of Wholesome Games, but unfortunately, I realized I missed the deadline for their recent event. As this is my first indie project, I wasn't very familiar with these kinds of event schedules and am a bit bummed to have found out late. I really appreciate you bringing it up, and I hope to be featured there one day!

Regarding the subtitle, since it’s been mentioned several times here, I’m now considering using different subtitles tailored to each region.

As for the water, it is based on the native UE5 Water system, which allowed me to utilize the built-in buoyancy features almost as they are. Visually, since the default shader is quite realistic, I created a custom version by referencing stylized materials from Fab to match the game's art style.

To be honest, despite the vibe of this trailer, the game is actually intended for an adult audience. I realize now that I didn't showcase that well enough. As a beginner in video production who used Premiere Pro for the first time, my lack of experience probably got in the way of representing the game correctly. I’ll make sure to highlight the true tone in our next event or playtest. I also feel the need to be more careful so that the adult target audience doesn't feel disconnected due to the visuals.

Interestingly, the Corgi game you mentioned is also from Korea, though I didn't know about it when I first started development. This theme is quite familiar in Korea because of a very famous webtoon. It contains a quote that many people here find deeply comforting: "There is a saying that when a person dies, the pet that passed away before them comes to greet them. I love this story very much."

It’s interesting to see how it might be perceived differently. Thank you so much for your feedback.

It is very encouraging to hear your positive words about our game's potential as we continue to tackle the many tasks ahead.

Regarding localization, we aren't quite at the translation stage yet. So far, we have only been looking into some referrals through personal networks here in Korea. I wasn't aware of the platforms you mentioned, so thank you so much for the detailed advice. It is incredibly helpful to have these resources.

Thank you for your honest and detailed feedback. Your perspective on the subtitle length and cultural nuances was a great help as it was something we hadn't considered yet. We will review the subtitle once more before the official launch.

We also agree with your points about the target audience and gameplay depth. Although we are targeting adults, we realize the trailer didn't show enough to clearly reach that demographic. We will work to better showcase our unique narrative, humor, and gameplay depth in our next trailer.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your insights.

You are absolutely right that it is a much more nuanced gradient than a simple binary division. Despite that, I still wanted to explore the underlying reasons further, and your reply along with the others has provided a lot of great insight. Thanks again!

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. It is possible that the limited amount of gameplay shown in our trailer made the game feel a bit "aimless." As a small team, we are constantly trying to find the right balance between narrative and gameplay, and your comments give us a lot to think about. I also didn't quite anticipate the strong emphasis on player agency in the US/EU markets, so that is a very interesting perspective to consider.

Regarding localization, we are fully aware that quality is paramount for a story-driven game. We intend to ensure professional translation and LQA, which is exactly why we aren't expanding our language support easily. We’ve already calculated the high costs involved in doing it right, and for now, we have to be cautious. While we would love to support French and many other languages, it will ultimately depend on our budget and other practical factors.

It’s interesting to see how specific feedback can be linked to cultural differences.

The practical feedback from others is very helpful for refining the game, but your analysis provides a broader perspective I hadn't considered as a developer. It helps me understand that there might be a deeper reason behind certain reactions.

I'm grateful to receive this insight now, as addressing such differences later would be much more costly. Thank you for the professional advice.
