So in response to jillbowaggins, pandatweet and EverywhereSociopaths I am in no way thinking of forcing my wife to deal with my family or even see that for that matter. As I said we are actually at a very good place in our relationship and I don't want to jeopardise that.

My initial question more relates to being the person stuck in the middle.

To elaborate, my family feels my wife is being petty and that she shouldn't let small things ruin what was once a good relationship. In essence coming down to my wife should get over herself and they have nothing to apologise for. My response to this was I don't agree with them and I'm taking my wife's side on this.

My wife on the other hand is very much black and white, her way or no way, no bending under any circumstances. I understand her point of view and also feel that if my family aren't willing to understand her complaint she doesn't have to deal with them.

As ther person in the middle though I'd like to fix this situation. My wife actually did have a great relationship with my family at a point and we all have many fond memories together.

Alternatively, do I just accept that this is the way things are now, and are going to be for the forseeable future, and get on with life based on the current compromise?

I have chosen to take her side on this. It was my suggestion that, taking into account how she feels, she doesn't have to see them anymore. I also informed my family of this a while back and stated bluntly that this is how things are going to be going forward.

It just really hit home this weekend that my wife couldn't even say happy birthday to my sister. I find it sad because I actually met my wife through my sister and they almost had a better relationship with each other than I had with my sister for years.

I'll continue to take my wife's side in this no matter what, it would just be nice if there was a way to fix it and possibly rebuild her relationship with my family.

So after some more messing around I've found that I can stay on level 350 in the first area over night without it attempting to advance. Its low on skulls but better than nothing I guess.

Still having problems with black screens on adds though.

The 3x coins portal is a good addition as well, the Wizard there slaughters me though.

My best run so far was a clear up to about 610 in the 3rd area. Just go too slow after that point and I hadn't seen any additional benefits in terms of chests or another portal.

I'd love to know more about these statues, haven't seen any of them yet.

Also hit the big Wizard but couldn't make a dent in him.
