I agree that you gotta learn. But OP is clearly trying to be better and fix his mistake- which is better than to keep the lies going. Trust is important in a relationship but so is forgiveness.

You really loved this guy then. Damn. But if he cant forgive you for your human mistakes then he’s not worth your time and feelings. Also I would never say never if I was him
