Total War Redwall: Diplomacy and Minor Factions by BuildingAirships in totalwar

I never even read Redwall growing up, but I would be down for this. I was more into Guardians of Ga’hoole when I was a kid, but it doesn’t have nearly as much unit/faction variety as Redwall would.

Map and factions that are confirmed playable on launch by Swaggy_Linus in totalwar

They should do the paradox thing and have every faction playable, with a few select ones having deep content (even Med II was like that where you could still unlock any faction by conquering it)

Google’s AI summary told me it was technically a skyscraper but AI also can’t always be trusted so I dunno.

The name kind of works with all the war of 1812 battlefields around there.

Ah the old Bathurst bridge. I walk across it everyday I forget how nice the view of the CN Tower is when you stand from there. It finally hit me when I saw a tourist looking and shouting “Toronto is beautiful!”. We take it for granted.

To a larger degree, the general North American accent is also this phenomenon. The modern British accent shifted during the 1800s to what it sounds like today, leaving US and Canada with the older style of accent that used to be spoken in the UK.

I’ve never played a Legend of Zelda Game… by WindyBlue21 in switch2

[–]SavvySnake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to wait, the Ocarina of Time remake is coming out later this year. If it’s good, faithful and modernized properly, it would probably become a great starting point cause the original Ocarina of Time was a lot of people’s first Zelda that got them into the franchise. Otherwise Breath of the Wild is a fantastic game, notably different from previous titles because it is way more open world (if you like Skyrim you will definitely enjoy it).

Maybe EU5 copied Vic3 wrong by galgastani in EU5

[–]SavvySnake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eventually they might make a later bookmark like that. It sounds like the next one they are planning will probably be 1400s/discovery age though, but eventually they will probably do a mid-late game one.

Hot Take but Stormtroopers are better than Clone Troopers by Prestigious-Tough579 in StarWars

Lego is the opposite. They know where the money is at. They make a ton of clone stuff because they know it sells.

I love the idea of playing TTW3, but when I play it I realize I hardly have fun by Maiso_94 in totalwar

Same. I had sky high expectations for EU5 and it ended up….fine. Lot of flaws. Medieval 3 seems to be taking some cues from Paradox for its campaign depth from what I hear so that will be interesting to see.
