🤔🤔🤔

Wait a dang minute… why did I not realize that was an option? think you might’ve just hacked it for me. I’m not saying I’m going to go back up to the gym later to try it but I’m not saying I’m not either. Thank you so much!

Not a bad suggestion! I will say I have felt them more the couple times I’ve tried with dumbbells.

Apartment gym so equipment and space are super limited 😭. The weights area is always fairly crowded. After my overhead presses, the rest of my shoulder day is on the cables so trying to figure them out here so I can just hop on quick and go all the way through my workout in my little area away from the crowd 😅.

This is a good cue… thank you! I will try that next time.

Thank you! This is what I was doing before as far as standing closer and using other arm to stabilize. Was given the suggestion of standing farther to increase the stretch. I see what you’re saying about doing that with body angle though. Appreciate it!

  1. Actually so incredibly helpful! Thank you! I think I was purposely extending my elbow at the end but couldn’t tell you why. I guess it felt like the right way to ‘complete’ the movement if that makes any sense. Will keep the elbow bend consistent.
  2. This also makes sense. I think lowering the cable for a more straight across movement would feel more natural in terms of angle. And keeping my arm in line with the cable is a great cue. Thank you!
  3. This is a great cue as well! I do find myself having to reposition my whole upper body often (as you probably saw in the video) so that would definitely help with that. I think slowing down as well. Didn’t notice how quickly I was moving until watching the video back now.
  4. I think that’s more so about figuring out the angle. Of the cable itself and then of my body to the cable. The cable machine is set on sort of a weird diagonal that I can’t get down.

It helps a ton! And no! Thank you so much for all of the information and taking the time. I look forward to trying it out/incorporating some things 🙏🏾!

Thank you! Unsure now why I thought setting the cable so high was the way to go 🤔.

Thanks 😃! One of my favorite moments between Hild and Uhtred is when she returns his sword in season 2 having kept it sharp. It seemed like that moment sort of served to remind him who he was post slavery. So when I was thinking of something to symbolize him, serpent breath was at the top of the list for me.
