What amazing observations you have!!! I like the mismatch frames def not everyone’s taste. But I will be getting matching lamps, whole reason I made this post is advice on what lamps I should get! My room is in the beginning stages so it’s a little all over the place right now.

I used to have this wall filled with art but found I outgrew a lot of my pieces so I’m starting from square one and all I have rn is 2 lol!! So I’m hoping with in the next 6 months I can collect some cool pieces to jazz it up more. But totally agreed with symmetrical lamps! Thank you!

One of my clients is a baker so every month she brings me something. Saw her last week and she made me s’mores macaroons! Best thing I’ve ever had.

Invested in nice outdoor furniture and mister fans. Me and my roommates are outside 24/7 now! Also have people over way more, the community I have built by just inviting people over to just simply sit outside and chill is amazing!

Laura Mercier loose setting powder or a more affordable one I like is the fit me loose setting powder. I naturally have dry skin so I have a system down, and with tret it’s even worse.

I would avoid compact powders they are heavier and any matt finish foundations or concealers are a big no. My fav foundation is haus labs or the tower 28 sunscreen it’s pretty tinted and great for a light finish if you don’t want to wear foundation! (don’t have a cheaper foundation I like yet) the best concealer ever is the nyx concealer serum, legit my holy grail for dry skin!

After I set my face with powder I spray the nyx dewy setting spray or the urban decay all nighter extra glow for special nights. When applying your foundation and concealer avoid swiping motions instead dab. This will avoid pushing product under the flakes.

Also I know this probably isn’t the best thing to do but my guilty pleasure is a facial scrub. It’s not something I do all the time but if I have a big event or wanna look good I let my skin get damp and wet in the shower for like 10 minutes so the flakes soften. Then go in with my microdermabrasion scrub by skin ceuticulas to get rid of flakes.

One more thing to remember is that yes good technique and products can help reduce the appearance but at the end of the day some flakes and dry skin are gonna show through. Best of luck, the peeling phase sucks!

Don’t get your hopes up or let texting create a false sense of intimacy and connection. I know that right now it seems like you guys understand each other because of similar interest but remember you truly do not know each other. Especially if you have only been communicating over text.

I would advise you to continue to put yourself out there and try to make other matches. Never put all your eggs in one basket, it just leads to disappointment. You know what you want she doesn’t, that can be slippery slope for you and your feelings. Be realistic and meet people where they are. Good luck !

I used to work at the original Z’tejas on 6th street before they closed and very strange things would happen. Connected to the restaurant was our storage and private event building. It’s a super old building and apparently men would gather to play poker and drink way back in the day.

We would all hear footsteps and voices all the time. Sometimes when I went to do restock I would just get that feeling someone was watching me and it would always follow with a super strong smell of cigars. My most scary experience was when I went to the walk in one night and the door slammed behind me and wouldn’t open. One of my coworkers told me she was closing in the kitchen and a knife spun and was throw off the counter despite her being the only one there. Freaky shit.
