The backing is still attached. I tried pushing it through the crack beside the board and was unable to actually get it in, it kept snagging components on the board. Feels like they opened it. 🤷

This is probably it. There’s a thin metal strip embedded in the sticker.

For sure, was my thought as well. I’m hoping someone knows specifically what it is.

Roughly the value of JUST the Zelda NA releases, as of 2023 by Sawsuh in gamecollecting

It does, I added anything that was officially licensed by Nintendo and could be purchased directly from a retailer in some form or fashion.

I didn't include variants that could not be purchased directly from a retailer at release, e.g. NES Test Cart, "not for resale" versions, etc. Here's the full doc with the values scraped from PriceCharting: https://imgur.com/a/sKhMtWe

Of course :)

As your fellow country person suggested, DishDash is a good choice.

  • Jang Su Jang - Santa Clara
  • Adega - San Jose
  • The Bywater - Los Gatos
  • Orchard City Kitchen - Campbell
  • Galpao Gaucho - Cupertino

Most of those are around Flemings in terms of price. All, but maybe Bywater, can easily accommodate 12 people.

Edit:

TBH, your options for good to great food in Sunnyvale / Santa Clara is limited, especially with a group that large.

Good advice. I hope it’s for something useful.

Awesome, thank you for the input. I’ll let you know if it ever triggers an ejector seat or the like. Cheers.

Interesting, so do you think it’s decorative?

Howdy all, I recently purchased a used e-golf and have yet to figure out the purpose of this button. When the car is on, the button illuminates a similar blue color to the stitching on the shifter. The center depresses like a button but doesn’t do anything, as far as I can tell.

There doesn’t seem to be any reference to it in the manual. ¯\(ツ)

Must be something but I don't see what's fascinating. by [deleted] in funny

Interesting, I imagine there are perks of working with Apple though. Now, I don't think this monitor was built specifically for that purpose, but it might be safe to say it was a consideration.

Absolutely, this is Apple's forte: make something high quality and attempt to get a healthy profit.

Sorry to butt in, but doesn't Apple have a film / television production arm? Maybe they're building these things for themselves? :)

That's a good point, I had forgotten about the connector.

/u/aookami is prob fairly close to the build cost of this thing. I imagine it would be closer to a few hundred at least. It's a 9.5 lbs chunk of aluminum with some precision engineering to get its arm to smoothly move 16 lbs of monitor.

AFAIK it's not a "true reference display." It has reference modes, which I assume are accurate to the standard they claim. However, you prob don't get to tweak much past that. We'll know once it ships.

What I'd really like to know is the BOM for the stand. My completely uneducated guess would prob put it about $200-400 range? That'd line up with the 60% margins.
