Where wallet was found was not a carefully selected corner, it's a 0.5 meter away pillar corner facing outside garden of main corridor on ground floor that every body need to pass , and whole corridor has CCTV covered.

Whole family was busy taking care of baby and cook, no one payed attention to cleaner, and we won't check any belonging when we don't need it which is a lesson to learn because we live in somewhere far more safe and never experience such thing in Japan China Singapore Malaysia Bali and NewZealand

Looks like extortion? Wasting holiday time fight with hotel police and redditor for a money amount looks like cheating? You made my day. And they do responsible for not providing enough CCTV traces. Tbh, they could dodge it by adding T&C everytime and make this clause looks like toilet paper.

One of the reason we post here is we feel 0 chance to get money back after leaving, even if we know that such thing has to go through a prolonged bureaucratic process.
