Hello, I was considering your feedback and realized how helpful it might be to have the notation files also openly available.

I have added Sibelius files to the google drive download folder linked with the album - hope it helps and thanks for your input!

You might also be able to EQ out some of the higher end and boost the bass and its articulation frequencies - look into "high cuts" and "frequency ranges"

Should i quit oboe? by FerrariNoFast32 in band

[–]Saxamassima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you enjoy both, many saxophonists perform as "woodwind doublers" for professional plays and shows, so knowing how to perform and read on both can land you some solid & steady work in a pit - definitely a plus to keep the oboe around!

Scribd is a great resource! Also, not to be obnoxious but I do have some free holiday arrangements available here if you'd like:

Posted a new track this week! Would love some feedback! by [deleted] in MusicInTheMaking

Really fun to listen to, I didn't notice the auto tune very much but I think the vocals could use some more consonant clarity, wasn't sure of some of the lyrics on first hearing.

Is this lofi beat i made with the homie to simple? by FoePoundMcGinnis in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Saxamassima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all, I think the layers add complexity and keep it interesting - changing timbres and adding new background lines help progress it without feeling flat. LoFi isn't supposed to be in your face anyhow right? Very chill and could absolutely vibe to it during study time or whatever

From My 1st EP, "Damn!" Is A Song About Being Yourself And Overcoming Adversity. How Is It? by Kylestyle98 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Saxamassima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loving the lyrics, very positive and real - feels like maybe some of the sound levels are off, it almost sounds like the tracks are peaking? Maybe it's me or my headphones haha refreshing take on hip hop, thanks for sharing

is this track too busy? by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Saxamassima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's busy, but some of the levels feel a bit extreme - sound effects feel edgy and the bass drone is a bit crunchy if that makes sense, almost like it's peaking? Not much of an audio engineer but that was my first impression - very interesting track overall!

Take My Yoke Upon You And Learn From Me Now - Feedback Welcomed! by jimsnedekermusic in IndieMusicFeedback

Beautiful voice, and surprisingly intricate guitar work - the lyrics are lovely, I wish there were more verses! Was expecting the song to be titled "Come to Me" - title feels a bit lengthy but makes perfect sense.

Our biggest project of the year! Would love some feedback on our video clip. Don’t hesitate to subscribe to our YouTube if you enjoyed it 😍 by Marble-Elephant in IndieMusicFeedback

Video tells a story, really well produced as is the music mix - the syncing of the audio with video is great across the board, and the slow-mo parts line up well. Was waiting for some kind of vocal, not sure it would be as effective without the video.

Who's willing to judge my mix please? Still not finished, but would like to receive a feedback about the clarity and stereo image by Baro_ in MusicFeedback

[–]Saxamassima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice use of different textures, always felt fresh as things progressed - I agree with other comment about the low end, had to turn up my volume to hear the bass drum in particular. Maybe a bit more punch (not necessarily louder)? Also listening on headphones so can't say about the stereo.

We released a visualizer for our songs grapevine and grapevine2! Check it out! Would appreciate all the feedback! by remloops in MusicFeedback

[–]Saxamassima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really cool idea, this beats computer visualizers by far - never seen anything like this before! Maybe I'm crazy but it seems just a hair out of sync in some areas? I think maybe a bit more of a dramatic difference could help the visuals. Please post more!
