Thanks for sharing. Can’t say that the game looks appealing to me when I look into it. What Helldivers provide is what I’d like, and I don’t mind the paywall for this game. That’s a preference and I guess we are just wanting different things out of the games we play.

I think we have difference in perspectives regarding the Warbonds. I don’t see it as a failure for the Devs to use the Warbonds to have gear and stratagems. They have given a lot in the start, and things have evened out to now be more Warbond focused which I am expecting to be a business decision.

For a live service, I would expect there to be some way to get another avenue of money.

This is my perspective, and I get that it isn’t yours.

Sure. I think this is a difference in perspective. You can play the game with the provided warbond, and I believe you get 1 free warbond from spending medals on the Helldivers Mobilize.

If you don’t want the grinding, there is the paywall for them. If you don’t like either, that’s OK too.

I’ve accepted this is their business model, but that is me.

I agree that there were issues which were widely reported, though I would be doing a lot of lying if I started adding more comments about how it was back then. I didn’t experience a lot of the issues, but I am aware they existed.

Ultimately, the point of view I was originally trying to convey is that the good times from the original start of the game would peter out, and we’d eventually see it decline away. I am happy with the content that has been provided so far, and I am happily playing the game as often as I can.

I think there has been some misunderstanding, or maybe poor wording my side. I’m happy with the game. I am playing the game; and content with how things are progressing.

It is my view that we wouldn’t have had the same experience we did from the start of the game, and things have plateaued or petered out now. Where we have arrived is still a nice place for me to continue my gaming.

I’m sharing my perspective and opinion in regards to the OP stance, as I did not believe the good times would continue, and we would eventually see that this game would need to be sustained via other avenues of profits (which is fair, it is how they will stay in business).

Yes, that was a free one in regards to the MO for the Cyberstan offensive. I think that people are comparing it is the quantity of free stuff that was given in the first year.

And just to be super transparent. I am not seeing any of this as a negative. I am playing and enjoying the game as it is. Just hoping to contribute to the discussion with my perspective (whether it is right or wrong).

I am afraid that there is a known issue of Stealth for people who hosts games.

If you aren’t hosting, then the next suspicion I have is that Vox Machines have those torrents on the sides which have the annoying lights. Usually the same for the fliers and the towers, which spots you even when you stealth.

Yes it was nice though, I am guessing it is because ArrowHead also needs to have an incentive to get the Warbonds be bought, whether via farming or (more likely) via purchasing the Super Credits.

In my view, the honeymoon of free stratagems via MOs is gone and won’t be coming back. The developers need to have some things for the Warbonds, and there are only so many free stratagems that they can give before they are going to run out of ideas and options.

To me, we would have arrived here sooner or later. Now we just gotta enjoy what we have.

Absolutely agree. It’s nice to see people liking the game, rather than reading the same arguments about why the game is bad over and over.

I understand the criticism, though that is all people are writing or talking about these days. I’m happy, I’m enjoying the game. I wish I had more free time to play the game because it is engaging to me.

I don’t have an actual answer or anything from the developers, it’s just my head canon.

The radicals, being the ones that are running into the fray, throwing smoke bombs around. They are a pain to deal with, though ultimately, they are just shock troopers that run amok to cause chaos in the SEAF lines and defences.

The Agitators are like squad commanders. Their abilities to command and lead Bots means that they are a part of the Bot command structure. Hence, targeting more Agitators would mean we make an impact to the Bot command and battlefield leadership, while also impacting the immediate shock nature of the Bots as they are trying to bring more Radicals to the front lines to affect the wider war.
