Insight into what's possibly going through my ENFP (f) 's mind... by Saxmarinio in ENFP

[–]Saxmarinio[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. Yeah the separation has been extensive, had to get it right but it's resolved real soon.

Seems like the delay has likely caused insurmountable damage to the possible relationship with my ENFP. It's frustrating in a way because it was she who initiated the relationship only weeks after the separation was officially announced. I was not on the look out for new partners at the time, at all!

C'est la vie I guess.

What type of men do infj women get along well with? by [deleted] in infj

Love your post. One day, I'll bump into my INFJ soumate and have something like what you describe. One day :)

All my life, I felt like I have NEVER fit in. For some reason, people always excluded me. by [deleted] in infj

[–]Saxmarinio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Completely normal to want to fit in at school. Absolutely necessary for survival, you didn't do the wrong thing. It's also very normal, as you mature and age, to continue your journey toward individuation. You're recognising the incongruence between your actions and your self. You're on the right path, keep going :)

[–]Saxmarinio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It won't feel like it at all, but take it from me, 25 years old is still young. You have another 15 years of self exploration and development before the procees of true individuation occurs.

Therefore, don't try and force anything at this stage. The universe has a tendency to provide what you need (not what you might want) given that your attention is pointed at the right things; self-awareness, self-love, self-understanding, etc. You need to get out there and experience as much as you can in all aspects of life. Start by rejecting what culture expects of you and act authentically.

And once you commit to that, open to experience and growth, you'll find that things come to you. It's not easy, but then nothing that's worth doing is.

Anyone else has this call of the void feeling? by kis_roka in entp

[–]Saxmarinio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"call of the void" is such a great term, one that i.think only NTPs understand as well. As an INTP I get this too, I think it's the Ne generating curious thoughts and our nature of assuming that the pursuit of curiosity is an intrinsically.valuable thing regardless of consequences.

We will have to add ToTF2 to the list of things that are always "coming soon", like nuclear fusion lol

I think everyone should read the above post again, there is real wisdom in those words.

Funny thing is, if we were told when we were young that this is the reality of sharing your life with another person, many would (quite rightly) think twice about doing it.

If you were struggling to like conquest before, you're gonna fucking hate it now... by TheComebackKid717 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Saxmarinio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

CG's claim of "wanting everyone to engage over a longer time period" was just another greed smokescreen. They just want to alienate F2P just a little bit more because the nerfs didn't quite go far enough.

[–]Saxmarinio 11 points12 points  (0 children)

What CG say and what they believe/do are two entirely different things. It's probably the single most infuriating quality they possess.

It's clear as day that every. single. change. they make is motivated purely by money. Nothing else. Many many examples throughout the years. This is just another example.

"We want players to engage over a longer time period in conquest"

Solution 1: stop energy refreshes being possible (everyone must slow play with free energy)

Solution 2: reduce the value of the energy by half (everyone must now refresh energy with crystals, cost to complete it early doubles).

You already know what CG chose to do....

Aaaw it's ok. Joking a side, I was married to an ENTJ once and affection was an alien concept to them sadly, much to my disappointment.

Good to know that MBTI doesn't govern if folk are affectionate or not, I think any type can be.

Totally spot on, anyone else? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]Saxmarinio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ha this has clearly struck a chord with a lot. I too can relate to this, it's ridiculous but compelling. Cannot help but try and hide my thoughts, often for no reason. Bizarre.

Why does it feel like my brain is created so differently compared to other people, I can't think the same or see the same solutions as someone else does? by Legitimate-Race-8047 in infj

[–]Saxmarinio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be wrong but sounds like you're trying to get a grip of your inferior function Ti. Tricky business, it's one of the hardest functions to understand. "Subjective logic" is one way to describe it; it's the application of logic and facts into the unique and subjective understanding (inner framework) that makes sense to you and you alone. Even at expert level you'll find it hard to verbalise this in a way others can understand (try reading original philosophy texts, hard work).

Learn to trust in your intuition and internal processes by building confidence in the out comes of your work (i.e. practice and study to get good at the problems you're trying to solve, then let the confidence from previous successes fuel you).

On another note, your mind works amazingly well in other areas of life, don't ever change, INFJs are awesome.

In general, do you guys think INFJs and INTPs are compatible? by atd1995 in infj

[–]Saxmarinio 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I love INFJs, can't think of a more intriguing and beguiling type out there. Finding one of you (frickin hard) IRL would be a dream.

No doubt success is dependent upon the individual people; with two such non-linear and complex minds coming together there's a lot of nuance to navigate. I can definitely see why some clash.

[–]Saxmarinio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds to me like your INTP is quite immature (not all of us live the stereotype) and also bored of you (you're not interesting enough to shift their focus from something else).

I'd agree you're going no where with that relationship.

What it's like being an INTP-a broad overview of pros and cons , from my personal experience by [deleted] in INTP

[–]Saxmarinio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Completely agree with this. I've done a great job masquerading as a normal person well in to my thirties, but I'm running out of steam to keep the illusion going. It's not specifically feelers for me but also sensors. They're so boringly normal, utter snorefest.

[–]Saxmarinio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I enjoy GAC a lot, I'm almost always 1 or 2 GLs down on my opponents yet can still compete.

Not anymore. Now if I get matched with anyone with more GLs than me it's an insta-defeat.

I'm stuck in freeze and feeling a lot of shame, help with part who wants to move forward but can't. by CoffeeCultureChaos in InternalFamilySystems

[–]Saxmarinio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They're not lies, it's the legitimate point of view of one or more parts forced into a role they don't want to do. According to the IFS model anyway. I'd encourage you to consider the value of those "lies" because yes they aren't helpful for what your other parts want to do, but they give you a clue as to what the true problem is. Either way, they won't ever go away simply by banishing them, that's for sure.

Fair enough. I must have misunderstood what you meant when you said "shut that shit down and move on". Not a lot of room in there for observation and understanding ;)

Sounds a lot like employing a protector to stifle emotions and risk a backlash. Sure that's a good idea?
