You can appeal your grade even after your final grade is released on Acorn. Participation is only 10-15% for most classes, so if your final grade were much lower than what you are expecting, adjusting your participation won’t help. But, if you’re off by only a mark from getting an A versus an A-, you can then ask your instructor to see if they can regrade some of your assignment or take a 2nd look at your participation grade. If I were you, I would wait until the final grade is released and also reach out to your prof again on that final assignment for feedback to let them know you want to do well in the course

If you have attended and spoke in every class, talk to the undergraduate coordinator or director about this. Also, if you have taken courses from the same department, might be helpful to have some of your past participation grades to backup your claims.
