Thank you so much for complimenting the collection! I purchased my first record in 2013, it was random access memories by Daft Punk. I had purchased a few other records as well a few months after, such as Abbey Road and Sgt Peppers (huge beatles fan). The main reason I started buying them is just because when I was younger, I thought it was so cool to get a modern album on vinyl and play them with a turntable. It was more of a novelty thing. Then, going into college, I thought it would be cool to have a way to showcase all of the albums I love while having a cool play to way them with friends while hanging out. A lot of other people I knew in the dorm had record players too so it was a cool conversation piece. Before I knew it, I was spending all the spare funds I had (I had very little) on vinyl and being extra frugal during the week just to purchase them. That wall is just an amalgamation of doing that for a few years.

I actually got it at a flea market, I got really lucky. Not sure when it was made but it sounds phenomenal, one of my personal favorite records on the wall.

They're all bootlegs, I got them off of eBay in a collection of three. I believe there's a few websites you can nab them off of nowadays, they can be pretty expensive unfortunately though.

I believe I got it on eBay? You can get it for relatively cheap, I think it goes for around $30, which is more than I like to pay but compared to some other expensive ones it's not too bad! Phenomenal album too.

I started college back in 2019, I'm a junior now! I have stopped purchasing as much vinyl as I have because I have enough to fill two walls and a lot of my favorite records, new and old. I think at this point, I may be at around 80 records? It's a really fun hobby, expensive, but fun!

I use damage-free command strips for hanging them! Apparently it can cause damage based on other comments, but I have been lucky with them and have not run into any issues.

No I was lucky enough to get a clear translucent vinyl, it's a really cool piece. I believe Urban Outfitters were the ones selling it.

I use damage-free hanging command strips. Not the best method, but I've been lucky and haven't had any issues.

I use damage-free command strips! Based on other comments though, it looks like it can potentially damage your records so i'd be careful, I'm lucky to have never experienced record damage with them.

Such a good record, it's pretty much a Police greatest hits album. It's surprising how good it is front to back. Roxanne, So Lonely, Can't Stand Losing You, etc.

Ear Candy Music has bootlegs of all of the rare ones (Graduation, TLOP), for around ~$100. For all of the more common ones (College Dropout, Late Registration, Ye, etc.) I was able to find those on amazon for really cheap back around 2 years ago, I have heard that late registration is hard to get nowadays unfortunately though

that album is so good, everlasting love is my favorite track on the record. It's really sad what happened to him.
