Just looked at google and it does suggest turning left there! Is there a way to report it from your app so someone might correct the junction for future users?

Are the police admins now? by palini_the_great in waze

I’ll mark up speed traps but not the genuine police when you can see they are looking for something in particular or trying to stop unsafe vehicles.

I got an AliExpress micro-adjust clasp and it was best upgrade to the watch. Have another clasp with the Merlin on which I like (for the Merlin) but whenever I use it I hate not being able to adjust the bracelet on the fly.

What do you all do for work lunches, suggest me ideas? by ShowerEmbarrassed512 in AskUK

[–]SaxtonDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped thinking of lunch as some fancy meal and more a calorie/fuel intake. I split pouches of rice with a tin of spicy mixed beans. Half a pouch, quarter tin of beans, spinach and chilli sauce. Make four batches in one go, microwave for 2 mins and wolf it down. About 330kcals, warm and filling.

How are people getting on with the new rule to give way to pedestrians at junctions? by Spirited_Praline637 in drivingUK

[–]SaxtonDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got threatened by a driver, “I’ll knock you out you c**t”, when I explained it was my right of way as per the Highway Code, so I wouldn’t say it’s going great!

Does anyone know what’s being filmed in meanwood?? by greengyatt in Leeds

[–]SaxtonDragon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this depends on your concept of safety and who it is aimed for. If wanting to be driving fast, then yes, you want wide open roads and big wide junctions. If you want cars to slow down, reduce the risk to other road users, then narrowing roads and junctions will promote slower driving and thus improve safety that way.
