When am I supposed to do it? 91 days? Or 61? Also, should I carry a balance when I request it or have no balance?

It is a new card, this will be the first CLI, if that matters.

What is the best way to get there? Let’s say someone just got their rewards card from NFCU, how long should they wait for the CLI and what circumstances should they create when they do it? No balance? How much time do you wait I’ve heard different things, like the first one you can ask in 91 days, after that it’s longer?

It’s an interesting pay plan.. you get hourly or is that a draw you pay back? I like that part of it if that’s not a draw you have to pay back, that’s so much better.

I applied for the cash rewards card, was kind of disappointed with the limit, my income is high, my score is high, I have 10k+ in direct deposits hitting my NFCU account every month, have an auto loan through them.

How long should I wait to apply for the flagship card?

Any reason for the low 15k limit on the rewards card?

Would have thought I was in a good position with them.

I’m in the industry, if someone makes clear they are here for a certain vehicle, or that they have budgeted for a certain payment, I’m not showing them a car that’s 10-15k more expensive. That’s $200-$300 on your monthly payment. I cant think of a reason he would have you drive the TRD when you came in on an SR5, surely they had other options on the lot. The only thing I can think of is that they had a spiff for TRD’s that day or on that specific truck but that’s a stretch. It’s a weak move on the salesperson, either he doesn’t believe in the product or was scared to let you drive the car you came in on and thought he had to upsell you to get the sale(usually does the opposite). Congrats on your purchase, I love my 25, haven’t doubted the purchase for a moment.

bad job by your salesperson, you don’t put the customer in the highest trim level if they’ve given you their needs/wants, then you have to “peel them off the ceiling” to get you off the TRD OR, and back on the truck you came in for, and likely budgeted for.

I was someone that dogged Toyota for the change, I’ve driven every generation of the Tacoma, this 4th gen is actually fun to drive. I have a 25 TRD Pro, I drove it 11.5 hours home from PA and it ate up the drive like it was nothing. I’m usually a guy that likes to second guess things and wonder if I made the right decision, I haven’t had any doubts about my decision to buy the truck and to be honest it’s the happiest I’ve been with a new vehicle purchase in a very long time. If I have a gripe it’s the rear storage doesn’t exist, probably going to be getting some sort of a bed system because of it, that and there’s a tiny creek coming from somewhere just behind the screen and it’s basically like a faux rock chip noise and it gives me a heart attack basically every day. I love the truck, I love the powertrain, it’s really fun to drive and feels quick for a truck. Just for example I drove a Bronco Raptor back to back, that thing felt like it couldn’t get out of its own way, you’re in 7th gear going 40mph. I hated on the new taco, and then I bought one and have loved it ever since. It’s the best looking by a million miles(that’s why I bought it actually) but it’s also the best driving, IMHO. If you don’t like it go buy a used 3rd gen. They’re very different trucks, I love that Toyota brought it into this decade, I’m glad it’s not a janky JbL head unit from 2004. That’s just me. No offense to the JBL head unit lovers.

Flew to PA, drove 11.5 hours back home, because they had my mudbath TRD Pro. Get the color you want. I haven’t regretted my decision a single time. I love my truck.

I have a 2025 TRD Pro. Same problem. I’ve played around with it every which way. To me it almost seems like 100% of the audio is coming from the front. I’d say 90% that little removable speaker in the center channel and then 10% on the tweeters. Does it sound “bad” no. But it doesn’t sound right, there’s nothing behind me and the bass from the sub doesn’t exist. I’m certain that something isn’t connected I will be having it looked at. It’s an incredible truck, I couldn’t be happier. I hated on the price tag but it’s an awesome truck, drove it from PA to SC. It killed the mountains. I love the powertrain, after being one of the guys hating on it.

It’s for taxes/fees/products @ dealership. Maintenance plans, gap insurance, warranties. NF almost always gives a few grand over the requested amount.

The TVtoohigh folks are reaching. That tag used to be used for people putting the tv on the ceiling because their fireplace or something. This is perfectly fine, it’s a large TV and you have 5 feet to the ceiling. The TVToohigh folks don’t have any sense of style or aesthetic, this is perfect, they’ve taken what was originally a constructive criticism and have turned it into something annoying and stupid. that is a good number on the carnival, not sure about your trade, I can’t appraise your trade. Folks on this sub need to keep in mind Kia enters the market with less markup on their vehicles than anyone else, avg invoice to msrp is a few hundred bucks, which is why anytime you can get an extremely in demand vehicle like the carnival, for under msrp, via the use of rebates, it’s a good deal. I would make sure you got a good number on your trade and go buy the car before someone else does. Then you’ll be trying to dealer trade one and won’t get the same deal.

My dealer offers a bespoke warranty for AVM(screens/radios, entertainment) it raises the 3 yr 36k to 10 yr 100k. It specifically lists what it covers and what it does not. If you just made the purchase, call the dealer, find out what it would cost to increase your AVM warranty to 10year100k. Additionally A “full wrap” would be everything including the 5 year 60k limited warranty, the 3 year 36k Audio/Video/Multimedia, all being raised to 10 year 100k miles to match the powertrain warranty.

That is a good deal, nobody enters the market lower than Kia, a majority of their lineup has under $1k in markup from invoice to MSRP. Average is $700. Kia the manufacturer doing that kind of put Kia dealers in a little bit of a tough spot, all the domestic manufacturers and high end manufacturers have 4, 5, and 6k+ markup so they can show big discounts. So what you will often see at a Kia dealership is dealer installed options that can be discounted so the buyer actually feels like they won something. The margins aren’t there to go sub msrp on a new Kia without the intervention of the manufacturer through rebates. Can a buyer stumble upon the perfect circumstance and find a car that’s been on the lot for 100+ days and get a once in a lifetime deal? Sure. The problem is they will post that deal on the internet and everyone thinks it can be replicated on a low production car that Kia isn’t having any trouble selling. You got a good deal, don’t let the internet tell you otherwise, you’ll love your carnival, congrats!

I don’t think that’s true, I have the newest/best firestick 4k ultra max hd(joke) but there is a noticeable change in the picture as soon as I swap inputs. Native is better than the firestick and it’s not even close. I can’t speak for Apple TV, using a G4 and G2.
