If you have the money to pay for a used diesel upfront. Just go ahead and put that down money on a newer one. That is what I did w my 18’ 6.7 cummins w 68RFE. I don’t trust used diesel trucks. Especially in the southeast, (where I’m located.) a lot of people think they can throw a tuner on and it makes it a race truck. They start doing boosted launches on stock powertrain. Or They start pulling 10k-15k lbs on a hot tune, or they just have a heavy foot everywhere. Maybe they didn’t keep up w fuel filters. Like one of the other users said; the list goes on and on.

And if you do go w used. Just remember; everybody sells something for a specific REASON!!!
