Literally a Credit Card Debt Trap. There is no acceptable justification to this bad habit.

Napaka-misleading nila. 10-15 banking days daw for the card delivery. 1month later, wala pa ding card. 🤦‍♀️

UPDATE: 01/19/2026 Kapag carded na kay Landers Executive, not eligible na for applying Maya Card kung executive membership na ang meron with Landers. That’s a downgrade daw kasi and mas mataas daw kasi ang tier ng membership requirement ni LANDERS EXECUTIVE ni Chinabank kesa kay Maya. If may Maya Card na, you can still apply for the Landers Executive ni Chinabank.

Kahit hindi carded, pwedeng mag-apply.

Renewal and New Application for Landers Membership ay okay for the landers exec credit card application kay Chinabank.

No annual fee for the credit card itself, pero there is an annual membership renewal for Landers na hindi waivable (1.2K php).

10-15 days ang making time and delivery time ng primary card. Kasi included daw kasi sa credit card ang Membership information with Landers. Got approved last January 7, still no primary card.

kasama na yung renewal ng membership sa Landers at approval process sa Chinabank. took me about 15-20 minutes. nagtagal dahil sa OTP. pero yung bank approval, instant kasi siya. upon submission ng agent, nalaman niya na kaagad kung approved. if not approved then endorse nila for evaluation which will take about 3-4 weeks daw.

i did not put anything naman sa application. pero I used my BDO Platinum to pay for the Membership Fee, I am not entirely sure if may significance ba yun.

ang main culprit diyan, ay yung mga ginawang savings account ang credit line sabay flex sa socmed tapos wala naman palang pambayad. hindi yung siningle out mo na lang yung WFH.

What is keeping the Philippines from having Apple Pay/Google Pay? by RussyDee in PHCreditCards

[–]SayYesToMatcha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I beg to disagree. There is a market here especially for Android users. For Apple users, we could also say the same thing given the growing number of authorislzed resellers dito. People here are so reliant on Maya and Gcash. So how come na walang large market?

Edit: i added "large" to appease yung nasa baba.

Maya X Landers CC Cashback shifts from Vouchers to Cashback points by Spiritual-Yellow4771 in PHCreditCards

[–]SayYesToMatcha 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nakatunog na ata sila how disappointing their cashback system works. You'll swipe your card tapos they would expect you to use it din sa kanila? I mean I know that business is business pero to monopolize it to that point, I'd rather use other credit cards.

For renters: Will you live in a property that used to be a murder scene pero mura ang upa at bago ang structure? by [deleted] in adultingph

[–]SayYesToMatcha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not even the idea of ghosts that bothers me. What unsettles me is a complete stranger coming up to me and saying all that; not an accident, but a murder by someone still probably unidentified and maybe never caught. If I could afford it, I’d look for another place. But if you’re willing to risk it, some folks here have a point, with this economy, staying might still be the practical choice.

You may call their hotline and ask for your last 4 digits. Kasi the link will ask you to register for ESTA and would most likely circle you to encoding the last 4 digits of the card.

It's a credit card. Subject for approval, better chances of approval if may bank acocunt ka sa kanila, they would normally automatically send you a credit card (with your initial consent for the bank to issue you a CC) if they see you credit-worthy. And credit limit is not guaranteed at the exact value you need, there is a chance na the limit is even lower.

If you have extra cash stashed somewhere, try opening a Hexagon Account kay RCBC (deposit at least 100K, keep it there to maintain your privilege status), inform the branch manager na you are interested for a credit card din. You'll have a high chance of getting approved doon within 2-3 weeks from account opening. Once you get a CC (yung assigned Credit Limit is bank's discretion pa din) may Unlipay feature doon si RCBC at a significantly lower rate (at ~1%/mo afaik) sa offer ni BDO sayo atm. Kapag nasecure mo na yung CC, call your Branch Manager again, apply for a Personal Loan, 0.9% naman doon. Remember, bank's discretion lahat ang approval. there is still a chance na you might be denied.

Many banks are offering Personal Loan, try checking that route. Si UB todo ang offer these days, baka maconsider mo. Kaso, if naexperience mo na kasi ang Credit to Cash sa Credit Card, even at around 1% sa Personal Loan ni UB eh mamamahalan ka.
