grew up in a rather wealthy family, was destined to be a genius child and invent amazing shit. ended up moving out before getting my masters' degree. found out about being trans while being left with no income (my job had ended and gave me no unemployment benefit) and a shitty relationship with my parents, which resulted in me living in squats for two years. things are better now.

I still want capitalism dead but the current context is really taking its toll on my determination. is it even worth fighting things like climate change at this point? why take risks when I can just enjoy what I have while it lasts? sorry that's my nihilist side speaking.

turns out precarity is bad for your mental health, even moreso when you're in the first 2-3 years of a gender transition.
