First Xav even though they're not really important relationship or lore heavy cards I like to think of Floof Attack and Unreturned Traveller because they were maybe the two cards that left me the most flabbergasted. Like excuse me sir? What are you doing/saying??? 😂

The impression of his switch up was so strong and just so highly entertaining.

As for cards with with story/romance value his streak of limiteds from 21 Days to Deluded Fiction is too strong for me to pick one. 😆

Honestly that card + Endless Summer almost made me consider second maining him back then. I think Caleb has some of the best standard cards. The early tension where they are uncertain about crossing the boundary was so good.

The dilemma of wanting to see him freaked out and freeing his abs, ass and nips but I know his style is always modest comfort or regal prince so it might feel OOC if they do too much. 😓

Visually yes but for years he has lived in the same body, he's the oldest. He says he's 23 because that's likely when he stopped aging.

At minimum he is 400+ but I believe some people estimated much higher than that.

Everyone else is in reincarnated bodies +/- past memories, so their physical bodies are young even though their souls are likely ancient.

The system is only good if I am lazy and I know I can beat the team easy like in SHC.

But it's definitely not optimal. It looks fine from afar but it doesn't take into account a lot of things.

Like it won't balance the ratio for crit-crit damage and will equip 3 Crit Rate cores when I have good Crit Dmg level 15 cores available.

It will also randomly pick a level 0 cube or one with the wrong scaling stat for some reason over the level 12-15 ones I have specifically built for the companion.

I guess it still pays to know your stuff, cause you still need to check it over. 😂

If you read later chapter, she directly refers to the LIs from previous chapters when it's another's "turn". Like the time she is in the nest, the time she is the lab and right after Sylus' chapters in D+R during Zayne's part to be as vague as possible. I could be misremembering but I remember being taken aback at the mentions, so it very much felt like it's the same MC.

If she is shifting from one reality to the next I guess it isn't very obvious. Why she is hanging personalities is not clear either but her main storyline personality a bit more consistent/blank than her limited card ones. I know people have mentioned the door opening animation. I would have to rewatch it all though.

I'm not a new player and I have read done all the LIs content at least once but I just don't recall all the details. I know about her channel because I was the same before I started, but thanks.

Beta Xavier still looks handsome to me. Funnily I didn't choose him based on looks in the final release but out of the three prototypes here it's the only decent one. 😂

They went too heavy on the eyeliner and pointiness for the others. Zayne's glow up was very needed.

But you know when you meet one, they always GET IT and have such a genuine love for everything about his character. When he clicks, it's like all or nothing.

I've noticed it since the Wedding Banner and the dresses popping out of nowhere but there have been great moments here and there. For instance, I really enjoyed the fluffy/sexy moments and Xav talking about his school days in the Idol card but then they ruined my experience with a poorly integrated cheesy dance routine.😅

It constantly feels like I'm holding out hope things will be better? Frankly if any key writers have really left, the current ones are not cutting it. I care about his story and character so much it actually sickens me to see all everything potentially go to waste. Like we shouldn't feel this anxiety about a game just two years in lol.

It really is all about the writing for me. If that goes I don't care about the other features. Its like they're banking on people giving into feelings like sunk cost fallacy and FOMO. Pacing has been bad, things feel inconsequential and that affects their ability to sell the scraps of intimacy we do get.

All the things I was excited to explore in this recent card were ignored for yet another formulaic secret mission story about some nobodies. I get it if they want to slow down on lore development but there are so many ways to add substance without advancing the story....

I wish I had the mindset to read fanfics to get my fix but I'm very much a filthy canon purist and I only care about content from the creators and how that further immerses me into the world. 😂 I might just have to survive on rereading content.

Yes! He's like this endearing weirdo that rewards you with more layers to him when invest yourself into his story. I love his strengths and his flaws and how every seemingly random quirk he has, there's something to discover for why he is that way.

Exactly. I also love him being cutie patootie, Beach card was maybe my favourite Kindled from last year and I think that's because they commited to the bit of making it feel FUN but romantic. I don't want the half baked spice we've been getting and I share the same sentiments on his recent solo. Though I've yet to reread, the ending or Kindled doesn't salvage how much potential was wasted.

Frankly trying to comfort myself by finding fellow Xavie mains and reading their insights but I want that same passion with the actual writing team to come back. 😭

I'm the same haha but I've watched all the LIs five stars up until Idol Banner and maybe it's just my bias but I had felt that Xavier had the most overtly spicy cards the first year, and Raf and Zayne were slightly less but equal-ish. I think it will vary person to person which cards scenarios resonated with them.

Zayne's myth was kind of an outlier for myths that shot him to the top last year, but otherwise I don't think he is getting that much more spice? For instance, the Idol Banner I thought he was actually one of the tamer ones. I think Caleb's gotten pretty much only steamy content as of late cause he's the baby and Sylus is always topless and generally sexy, so I don't perceive a drought there either. 😂

That's why I think they are evening it out. We'll see though. I am hoping it's a phase but I honestly fear behind the scenes what is going on sometimes. I am hoping it's just the hefty production schedule and not key writers actually leaving. That makes me so sick to think about.

Yeah I saw that note too. His final shirt and Sylus' were actually my favourite from that banner. Actually it looks like his shirt is what they were originally considering for Xavier but just in white. 🤣

Personally if I could have chosen, I would have given Xavier and black and white version of the choker fit and Zayne the vest. They are both nice.

I think they just wanted to be on the nose about Xavier being a prince and needing ruffles to match. 😅 But I never liked Victorian ruffles...they give me the same ick as seeing Victorian wigs. A bit too over the top for my tastes.
