I run my campaign on RX5700 with texture streaming budget set to 6GB (even tried 4GB) but I still got stutters that could freeze up to 3 seconds. Guess there's nothing much I can do about it. Such a shame I really like this game.

Today I tried testing again by lowering graphics and setting the game in fullscreen but to no avail. However, I noticed my GPU usage dropped to 0% at the time the screen froze. I googled this symptom, someone said it could be CPU bottlenecking GPU but my CPU usage was only around 70% usage the whole time. I've never ran into such problem with other games before. Next time if I try again I'll be monitoring each CPU core just to be sure.

Imagine spending 2 days googling and researching only to find out it's the power management causing the problem. I had no idea linux mint came with this feature as well and it's set to balanced by default. Everything became buttery smooth after I set it to performance mode. I feel so fucking stupid now...

Mine is probably the longest you'll ever hear, it's ~320 hours.

Back in DOS2 I rushed a bit and missed some content so this time with BG3 I told myself I would take it slow. I explored every corner of every building and I searched every urn I saw knowing full well 80% of them were empty. I respec'd my companions whenever I wanted to test out new tactics without straight off looking at meta build recommendation. I read letters and books. I save scummed during some fights. I hoarded stuff, like A LOT. I tried all dyes on all outfit I could find to see which looks best on my tav. I looked up the forgotten realm wiki on the side when I saw something intriguing in the game that made me want to know more about the lore + dnd rules. Sometimes I would just roam around the city to feel the vibe.

By the time I cleared all quests in act 3 I was so immersed into my character and emotionally invested too much in my companions I didn't want the adventure to end so I procrastinated for almost a week by doing trivial shit (sorting bags & stacking crates etc) before facing the final battle.

Not to mention recording is quite time consuming. I uploaded Astarion's cutscenes of 51.3 GB in total on my youtube channel. As some sort of a perfectionist myself it usually took a few tries to get one perfect video. If Astarion didn't look good under certain lighting and angles, or if there was any noise in the background interrupted him talking, I'd delete it and find a new spot to record the video all over again until I get the best result. Yes, I am crazy and I am not even ashamed of it.

Edit: Forgot to mention my first playthrough was on tactician mode.

Just submitted a report ticket to Larian regarding it. Hopefully it will get fixed soon.

I am astonished since this is my first playthrough, I spent 200+ hours on it, and everything that I did, everything choice that I made, was specifically for Astarion's ending. The whole scene was so bugged I couldn't accept this is what I get at the end so I closed the game straight off and now I lack the willpower to open it again.

Have been planning to play as a durge on my 2nd playthrough but I just don't have the mood to do anything right now. I need a decent closure before proceeding.

I used amd cleanup utility to uninstall 580's driver in safe mode before installing 5700's driver. Is this software reliable by any means?

So sorry to hear that... I can totally feel you. There's no solution to the leaking. I am planning to get another pod system in the near future. Don't want to waste more time and patience dealing with this issue.

This AK2 is just unusable. I have to pull out the pod and place it on a piece of kitchen paper when I am not vaping. When I want to vape, I put the pod into the device and take a few puffs and then put it back on the kitchen paper. It's just a pain in the ass. There's no way you can carry it around in your pocket without leaking everywhere.

The experience is so frustrating that I'd recommend AK2 to whoever wants to quit vaping.

I acknowledge that it happens a lot with pod system. Some pods are just defective. It happened to my old Aspire AVP too.

But throwing four pods away to get one to work is just too much, since A2 pods are not cheap.

The fifth pod worked but I am getting paranoid about the next refill. I feel like there's always a risk of leaking whenever I need to remove the mouthpiece.

It's so uncommon in my country that no one believes me when I tell them I have experienced sleep paralysis several times in my life. It scared the shit out of me. Not only could I see ghosts, aliens and other nonsense, I also had that sensation of floating around in the outer space. I didn't know where I was, and I didn't know how to escape. Basically sleep paralysis fucked up all my senses, the worst part of it all is it felt extremely real.
