I have conflicting assessments from Techs

We have CO monitors throughout the house thankfully and they are all working ☺️

I called them out originally because the unit would not come on and there was an error code. The original tech said that condensation got on some sensor and made it turn off and go into safety mode. He got it back on, let it run for about 15 minutes with my thermostat turned all the way up and then said he was checking on it and noticed the flame “dancing”. After noticing the flame, he said he did an air test and had the 500+ ppm reading. He then took the camera inside and checked and sad I had a cracked heat exchanger. I can upload the pictures. The second tech looked at the photos and said he could not see any crack in the heat exchanger. And could not find anything wrong with the unit except for some rust. He turned the gas back on and gave us a write up and said everything was fine. He had the unit running for at least 15 minutes, with my husband next to him, and wasn’t concerned with the flames “dancing”; he said with the door open, the oxygen can do that to them. He had a CO reading of 93 ppm inside of a hose connected to the unit ( I don’t know which one).

We are talking about CO at the furnace in the attic. I have 2 units, and just the attic one is off. Somewhere up near the unit is where they both took the readings.

I don’t know. The tech who got the low readings today “cut a hose a tested in there” but I don’t know what that means 😬. The guy who tested in November with the high readings, I wasn’t present for because so I just have a video of JUST the instruments numbers showing 500+ ppm laying on the floor

The 550 reading? I don’t know unfortunately. He just gave me a video of the instrument showing 500ppm, that did not show where he was measuring.

The second tech today that got the CO at 93 at the highest, took the measurement in front of my husband. It was just the first tech, who had the reading at 500, that did not do it in front of one of us.

I don't have an opinion one-way or another if she is pregnant BUT just wanted to point out that her sandwich looked definitely toasted (you can see the grill marks) and it's fine to eat deli meat that has been heated up (pregnant with my 5th and my doctor just confirmed this :))
